Samsung S25/ S25 Ultra

It was the only unique Samsung phone. I was not clear before.
Samsung basically borrowed iPhone design for the entire line except the Ultra.
So for my taste the s24 ultra is the last Android phone that didn't completely copy Apple's current design language and I liked that.
I don't have any issues with ergonomics and I would rather have a more useful screen.
Yes, I do have nostalgia for the Note 10 I had too.
Don't get me wrong, the s25 Ultra looks to be another great device with some decent upgrades.
I wonder if Samsung will be adding new AI features, it seems to be where everyone is heading. I’m not too sure about the design of the S25 Ultra, i personally like the boxy look of the S24 Ultra.
One UI 7 is looking good tho, it seems more refined.
I’m guessing January is when Samsung will hold the Unpacked event, so not long left to wait. Have there been any rumour on what could launch along side it? Possibly a Galaxy Ring 2 or a new set of ear buds maybe.
Edit: it does indeed seem like we will be getting at least a glimpse of the Galaxy Ring 2

I may get the fold 7 instead of the s25 ultra as I want one UI 7 on one device for next year. Will see though.
If I'm not impressed with the S25 Ultra, I may wait for the Pixel 10 and give that a try. I can't justify having both a Samsung and Pixel alongside my iPhone. Pixel's seem to have gotten better this year, hopefully that carries on into next year.
Foldable's are interesting, however durability concerns me.
Oppo find x8 ultra is rumoured to be a global launch for next year. Well worth tying that one. Will be incredible device
IMO if you’re not impressed by s25 ultra not sure pixel 10 will be more interesting to you. Samsung will always offer more in their phones.
I get you when you say you can’t justify having both pixel and a Samsung. If I get the s25 ultra my pixel will be sold.
Main reason why I can see myself parting with my pixel is the fact I have a vivo phone which already is better for photos so the main reason to Hold onto my pixel was the camera as one UI 7 seems really great so now software wise Samsung would win for me
Hopefully there is more than what we have been hearing. Even the specs don't seem like all that much of an upgrade, at least not camera wise.
The reason I have a Samsung S24 Ultra is because the camera, the zoom. While my iPhone is good, it still can't match the zoom.
Also I love the endless customisation of Samsungs One UI (Goodlock is great).
I've even been tempted to get a Tab S10 Ultra, simply because the big screen, endless customisation, Dex and multitasking. But alas I have an iPad Pro.
Looks like we will not have to wait much longer for the S25 lineup.....

Still so very tempting, would be more tempting if trade values are like they were a few years back along with like $200 to spend. Used to be such a great deal where you barely paid anything up front!

With rising prices i fear those days are gone. Which is why Samsung need to give people a reason to upgrade. Hell not just Samsung, Apple's iPhone 16 was piterful as an upgrade, which is why I stuck with my iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Normally it's within a month... since the unpacked is on the 22nd and pre-orders will begin afterwards. And typically the phone releases two weeks after the announcement.
So, my guess we will see One UI 7 in February... highly doubt it comes next month.
I read somewhere that the S25 models will ship with One UI 7.1 with all the AI features and enhancements

If that is indeed the case, Samsungs perks have gone downhill. Last year and indeed previous years, included a free Galaxy Watch or pair of Galaxy Buds.
