I am not on the Fold 2 specifically, but on my Note 20 you can choose between icons or full details on the lock screen under Settings > Lock Screen > Notifications. See image below. That option is under "View Style".
I do think there is a bigger issue here. I can envision many people buying the Fold, seeing the performance of Instagram on the unfolded screen, not researching a solution online, and potentially returning the device. I do agree that the more popular YouTubers are doing a major disservice by not sharing that there is a solution to this problem. But the problem itself is also concerning too and Facebook really needs to offer a solution versus expecting consumers to find their own workaround.

this company won't do that but if your sent an email saying delivery will be monday and then it doesn't arrive i don't think its asking too much to be offered something for the inconvenience
i wouldn't be surprised if samsung have re allocated stock that was meant for EE o2 to deal with their own outstanding orders with the blessing of the operators.
i don't see many people in the usa getting orders delayed i think the majority of pre orders have been delivered unless i've missed something.
did you try to get a freebie from them for the delay ? i can see ee o2 vodafone being far less willing to do anything and just say cancel if you don't like it lol
yeah i'm in two minds complain and might get a voucher or something but then it won't be significant and the prices they charge for accessories are rrp so you'd probably pay more even with the voucher compared to amazon etc
