I saw that; however, it’s now Tuesday morning in ZZ. Why no movement on a Monday or Tuesday? Why did other phones move over the weekend? I’d much rather drive 2 hours than deal with this mess.

Their holiday ended on Monday. I was expecting some movement by tonight but so far nothing... at this point I'm growing suspicious the phones might not be in China as tracking suggests (or just hopeful)
Right...maybe the update is what didn’t happen, but the phones already left. (Prays that this is the reason)...
I got a MyChoice email that it will arrive tomorrow so fingers crossed!! Headed to NYC.
My Phone just left Anchorage. I'm starting to believe we will have it tomorrow.
Alright. So looking further into this, I think those of us on the Hong Kong - Taiwan - Alaska pallets are being carried by China Airlines cargo.
China Airlines Flight CI5242 departed Taiwan at 5:42pm local, arrived in Anchorage 10:14am local.
China Airlines Flight CI5242 departed Anchorage at 11:44am local, due into Louisville at 9:09pm local (any minute now).
The plane they're using on this flight is a 747 cargo plane.
These times roughly lineup with the UPS scan times we've all posted. If true, we'll be seeing arrival scans from the US Mainland within an hour or two.
EDIT: China Airlines flight CI5832 flew from Hong Kong to Taiwan leaving HKG at 2:44pm local on Monday 9/24 arriving Taiwan 04:09PM local. I'm all but certain we're on that plane.
Ugh, I have just got off the phone with Apple. They called UPS, and was told that the shipment is still in China. There isn't any movement because of the mid-Autumn festival holidays. Seriously, if the Mainland China hub is closed because of the holidays, then how come people whose phones were shipped from Shenzhen on 09/22 got their packages today 
. They still said they would deliver the package on schedule. Ugh.

According to the UPS tracking (mine says tomorrow).
While this is uplifting news to think about, I still have no clue how UPS can possibly deliver my package in approximately 12 hours now. It still has to clear customs and pass through Louisville hub to come to my location..
The only reason I had SOME hope was that I changed my delivery to a pick up in Louisville...figured I would then have a 1-2 day buffer...guess not.
This is what irritates me - all weekend UPS said it was a system update issue. Now it’s a holiday. Had just 1 person picked up a phone and been just a little proactive this would have a much different feel. So...I just got a FedEx notification for something coming from Phobio in Indiana.
Wondering in Apple is pulling supply from a partner to make the delivery date.
Only downside is that it will deliver at my house instead of the UPS CC in Louisville.
If it’s my phone, that is....can’t think of what else it could be.

I keep staying up thinking, “hey...the holiday is over in China...it’s almost noon on Tuesday over there...something should happen...”

I’m in the same boat. UPS says delivery by Tuesday (tomorrow). But, the tracking says the package has not moved from ZZ since 9/21. I’ve ordered iPhones for years now, by 12am EST the flight needs to be in Alaska by now. So, UPS is wrong.
No change on my update - stuck in ZZ since 9/22. What worries me is there is another holiday coming up - and it's a week long!

Ha! Not keeping my hopes up . I’ve ordered every iPhone since the 3GS. Right now it should be in Alaska leaving for KY. It normally arrives in my area (DC) by 4-5am and gets trucked to the HUB my 6am. Then it gets on the truck by 7am. Seen the same pattern for 6-7 years now. Oh, well. Just a few more days.
