Just checked my tracking to see the delivery date is now unavailable. Unsurprising but still bummed out. I guess mine would be coming on Thursday too.

Same with mine. Coming tomorrow to LA. And I leave for my vacation Wednesday. Perfection.
Well, I was right. Just checked UPS tracking and it went from 9/25 delivery to “check back later for delivery update”. I’ve never seen this issue before with iPhones. The distribution is normally very smooth. Sitting in ZZ since 9/21? Wow.
My phone is still stuck in ZZ and my delivery date has now been changed from Wednesday 9/26 - Friday 9/28. Never had Apple or UPS screw up like this before and will never bother with preorder again.
5 days in ZZ and no movement ? No way I’m getting this phone by tomorrow. I already got the trade in box and am supposed to have my current phone sent back by the 9th.
Pretty frustrating. Ups and Apple have pretty much guaranteed I won’t ever be preordering again.

Wow I’m so sorry that some of your phones haven’t even moved. You all should call apple and find out what’s going on.
I received my phone 4 hours after scheduled delivery. The ups guy told me they put my phone on the wrong truck. Ups screwed up from start to finish lol

Yep...got an email from UPS at 12:30 am saying my delivery is now scheduled for Thursday by end of day instead of today.
And still no movement from ZZ for me either as of right now.
Edit: And now wondering if my FedEx package due to arrive tomorrow at home is nothing more than my return box for my current phone from AT&T?? Would make sense that they would source that out to some regional tech company to process.

And as of this morning no iPhones in either the Atlanta or Louisville stores… Screw this… I guess I’m just waiting for mine to be delivered at home Thursday… Which means it’ll probably sit in Louisville since that’s where I had it scheduled to land… Guess I better change that…

I have that same update from ups as well and as of this morning my iPhone charge has disappeared from my card has that happened to anyone else?
I am also on the same ZZ location. I just checked my CC and the charge for the phone is still there. I would call Apple if I were you to see what happened.
I think this hold at ZZ was the plan all along. UPS, and other major shipping companies, use the JIT (just-in-time) method of delivery to be efficient. Our delivery window was Sept 28-Oct 5. Anything before that would’ve been against their normal delivery pattern. UPS is dealing with many items that have specified delivery times. Regardless of what the “estimated” date would’ve been as per UPS, Apple is the one directly paying for shipping. Any, more priority orders, would cut us in line for UPS resources. This is why our phones sit until our delivery window or until shipping resources free up and then it’s our turn (before the delivery window). The other people who got their phones through other locations (Shenzhen, etc.) may have just had less pending shipping orders through that location so they were next in line.

I might buy that, but both Apple and UPS told me I would get my phone today… Not Thursday…

Delivery date has now slipped again; this was completely preventable had someone at Apple or UPS bothered to be the least bit proactive. Instead they just ignored what they were told and said to wait for UPS system to update. Never again. Phone still in ZZ since freaking Friday! Epic fail.
Wish I never got notified of the shipping until maybe tomorrow, I wouldn’t have been expecting it either way and still be happy about a Thursday delivery since Apple initially quoted me Oct 1-8. Now I’m just disappointed whatever happens (salty)

Mine says apple delivery by 27... while it still in clearance at zz. I’m going to check apple store stock in few mins when in opens up on app. If there is then I’m buyin it and returning this when it comes
Update...called UPS this morning and they confirmed my initial delivery date for today was not going to be met. She said her system was showing tomorrow. Tracking shows slight movement, not yet out of China so I'm not sure how they will get it to my house tomorrow, but we'll see. I'm not holding my breath.
