Fed Ex delivers the return boxes for the Apple Upgrade Plan upgrades. My guess it is those. I've gotten 2 of these recently (yesterday and today) for my phone and my wife's iPhone.
That’s the return box for AT&T for your current phone...I got that too...
Still in ZZ. This is going on 6 days. lol. 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26.
I want to just go grab a phone from an Apple Store with these lack of updates lol

Chatted with Apple just now and they said they have had an issue with some orders. They also said my iPhone will arrive on or around the 28th. They have requested a shipping investigation for my order.
Stuck for 6 days definitely an issue. Wonder what that issue is. If no movement from ZZ tonight I’ll request they do the same for mine tomorrow.
I wish. Depends on your circumstances. I called Apple and asked for that days ago. They said it was already too late to cancel an order (and this was very early in the process). Then there's also the issue of whether you're buying it with your old phone number, buying it on an upgrade program, a trade-in.
I just bought one from the apple store 5 miles from me. Same model and size and decided for the unlocked version. I pick it up in 1 hour. I can just return the one sitting in china for the last 7 days or refuse delivery.
Yep. If it’s part of the Apple upgrade plan you’re screwed. Can’t do anything till you receive this phone. Only way is to do new iUP plan but even that I’m not positive on.
I do know that 512 Xs MAX in Silver and space grey exist at the Apple store 10 mins from me.
Won’t ever do a preorder again.
I should mention that my current phone is the 7Plus, all paid up (I was on the ATT next program, never took advantage of it though). I ordered this Xs Max on the Apple upgrade (so if I wanted to upgrade next year, it would be possible with the extra payments).
I'm with you -- never do a preorder again. It really hurts that we can't walk into a store and get it when they're sitting there.
I am done with the preorder process as well! There are several people here at work that just went into the Apple Store and bought theirs.........and here I am waiting and waiting and waiting.....
If this was my only item I ordered, ok, I could understand being a bit more patient but I ordered two phones. One for my wife and one for me. One made it one is stuck in ZZ for 6 days now. One is sitting next to me one isn’t. My phone made it to ZZ a day after my wife’s did her phone made it Monday. This is something my wife and I enjoy doing together.

Where are you guys getting 6 days? I count 4. Order processed on the 21st. Day 1 would be the 22nd, day 2 would be the 23rd, day 3 would be the 24th and day 4 would be today.
The 21st is the first day. Order was processed on the morning of Monday super early. It's Wednesday 6am already in China at the moment. It has been sitting in the ZZ warehouse since the night of the 21st. So I'm counting the 21st as a day. And since China is already Wednesday with no movement... I guess in my frustration, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 = 6. I think the times in UPS are Chinese timestamps?
So yeah it's only been 5 days. But since my wife's phone was delivered Yesterday (early) via UPS... and it was ordered the same time, her phone only spent a very minimal amount of time in ZZ. My phone actually made it to ZZ a day behind hers, while hers was still in ZZ.

Out for delivery.... and Apple lied, a signature was required. Guess I'm going to the UPS Customer Center after work.
Apple has already charged my wife and I the first month payment on the iUP phones. From what I've seen on these forums, if I was to return my phone, that wouldn't be returned? So I lose close to $70 if I choose to go get a phone now and return this one supposedly coming Friday?

I think it is better to contact Citizens One as they are the one who handle financing. In addition, it seems to be complicated given that your phone number is tied to the phone that is shipped.
