Such good artists on here, I'm a little embarrassed to show it. It is literally the first time I have drawn something since a basic art class I took 25 years ago. Having this new tool makes me want to take another class.

Don't be embarassed :) I think it's great. It's weird that a technology company like Apple can truly inspire people to come out of their shells like this. 25 years? That's a HUGE chunk of a person's life and suddenly you jump back into something. That's inspiring! The truth is I used to draw for up to 5 hours a day in my free time when I was a student. It was all I dreamt about and I devoted so much time and money into it. Then I went to school for illustration and I realized that not only was it hard to make a career out of it, but I just didn't enjoy it when it was dictated to me what I had to draw. I know that it's necessary for learning the craft, but I felt so constricted by it.

The funny thing about art, and artists in general, is that they almost always (like seriously...nearly 100%) find flaws in their work. That's the beauty of it all though, the want to improve is what makes artists artists. Keep up the great work! Every person's art is unique and honestly I couldn't draw that if I tried, because I'm so in my ways =) stay unique, have fun and keep improving!

I adore your quirky characters! They have so much life and uniqueness to them. I'm curious: are you a trained animator or comic artist? Your work is REALLY professional looking!
Thanks! I work as a graphic designer-who just happens to have a doodling habit.

For those that aren't aware already, there's an app called Medibang Paint for iPad. It's very much like desktop apps such as SAI or Manga Studio. I guess they just re-released the app for iPad after working put some issues. So far it's pretty neat(though there are some minor palm rejection issues).

Wow that's great! As a fan of SAI and MS I'm going to get this. Apple just told me my pencil shipped at last and will be here in 4 days. Oh joy!

I never went art school, I never took art classes for Illustrator or photoshop or any other digital drawing related, my work for living is nothing related to drawing/painting. All I have is just strong passion to draw, simply love to do it.
I hope this prove you that you can draw/paint too, no need to attend classes! And sometimes going to classes and learn things block your free mind and eyes to see your own world.
If you have any favorite artists, you can start with it, watch their art works and see how they use colors and lines. Don't compare your work with others, being unique is more valuable, realistic art is of course great and I love it, but following with your heart makes your drawing personal and that touches other people's heart. Not always drawing things as they look like is the best.
Grab your Apple Pencil and iPad Pro, start doodling, place lines and colors as you want and as you like, you gonna learn how line works and how to use brushes by drawing and enjoying it :)
And don't forget to share here to inspire more people ;)

Thanks, I guess it's the enjoying it that counts and I can't help but pick up my pencil and draw just random things.

Your work is nothing short of fantastic I must say.

There are some really great artists here! I've just got my iPad Pro and Apple Pencil and thought I'd give procreate a go.

I'm not an artist in the slightest, so I've been using YouTube tutorials and copying them, it's great fun and I'm learning a lot already! As YouTube doesn't support picture in picture yet, this work around works perfectly!

Here is Santa Claus. It took me around 30 minutes. I also love the replay feature in procreate! Time to do some more drawing!
