One of the first really quick and sloppy images I did trying out the brushes in Procreate. I hope to finish the entire character soon. (And yes I realize she is a little cross-eyed, i'm too lazy to go and try and fix it.)

On the upper right of the top toolbar. Look for the overlapping squares icon.Awesome, is there a video or link that helps me to do that? I've tried doing it like I do on desktop but it doesn't seem to be working on iOS. lol

Tried some painting and tbh I kinda like the brushes in Procreate more than in Photoshop (and yea I've started playing Dragon Age recently haha)

I used the round brush, Oriental, and wet flat brush with all varying opacity and thickness.
I mostly used the round brush I believe.

Received (finally) my Apple Pencil yesterday and it's a mighty fine pencil but, compared to sketching on paper, a huge learning process. Yesterday couldn't get anything decent done, today... well, way below what I can do on paper but it's a start...

Super quick "self-portrait" lol My first time using pencil on the iPad and I gotta say I love it. Pressure sensitivity is very natural feeling. Can't wait to spend a lot more time with it.
Anyone know if it's possible to do layers on Procreate so I can color and paint without the color covering the lines?

Yes you can have lots and lots of layers

At the moment I'm using Pencil when I need it and the 53 Pencil when I don't but I'm curious if you can turn it off at will, or is it just always on? For some tools (eraser and painting) I occasionally want full pressure on at a steady stretch. Thanks!

yes it has layers. its a bit limited if you use large file. The larger the pixel dimension, the less layers you can us. But most people wont mind or notice this though.
I did this at an Apple Store, I was hoping to get a Pencil but (of course) they were sold out so I asked if I could try one aaaaaand four minutes later (sorry for the moire... I didn't have the presence of mind of screenshotting and airdropping it to my phone)
