Here's a quick doodle using Procreate.

I also did a short Periscope this morning (will expire in 24 hours:

And recorded an initial try last night using Twitch and uploaded to youTube (forget to enable mic, so audio kicks in around 12:00 mark:

Overall truly digging the Pencil. I tend to have a light touch on the tablet, and would like a way to adjust the pressure curve like I can on the Wacom tablet settings under OS X.

Procreate + iPad Pro + Pencil stylus = AWESOME!

Is that the 12.9? With screen protector?
[doublepost=1498540842][/doublepost]You guys keep up the good work on those drawings! I'll be joining you guys with some sketches soon. Let's all get creative!

Anyone have any scratching issues with the Apple Pencil, my 10.5" already got a scratch from the pencil.
As someone said once, "if you're seeing scratches, it's not the Pencil that's causing damage, but rather a small bit of grit being pushed around by the Pencil. Keep your devices clean and you should be fine." I suggest buying a microfiber cloth, as explained here. When the Pencil was released there were reports of scratches, yet after a year I never had one.

I literally owned it for a week, never brought it out of the house, no sure how this happened!

I've been trying new 10.5, but no problems. Previous iPad Pro 12.9, I used Zagg invisible shield to protect screen. At this moment they still don't have one for 10.5 I believe, but once it's out, I'll have it on 10.5 as well.
Actually, I just checked, it looks like it's now available. It's expensive but very well product, it worth to pay that cost. You can buy online, but I go to their store and let them install as well. Again, it's extra cost, but they do better job than I do.
I use Apple Pencil pretty often and draw, but even my tip of Apple Pencil is still original and never needed to be replaced.
I agree, that scratch(es) were not because of using Apple Pencil, unless your pencil tip is broken.

Sorry to hear that. :( I wouldn't be without my matte screen protector. For texture and for protection. It doesn't matter *how* careful you are, unless you live in a hermetically sealed environment potentially harmful dust/grit can happen.

Its also good that if it's a tiny hairline scratch that isn't deep enough to cause colour weirdness, much of the time a screen protector's adhesive will make the scratch vanish entirely.

I'm generally insanely careful with my devices*, but iPads are for on the move and occasional sawdust in the air (I'm guessing) at work scratched my old one. Most terrifyingly, more recently my iPp was knocked onto a loose NAIL screen first (argh) and it made a big hole through the screen protector but somehow avoided damaging the screen at all.

*except occasional lapses of judgement, evidently.

Some more pics.. Is it too spammy to send a batch like this? Sorry if so. :( All Procreate on 9.7” iPad Pro. Some sketchier than others.

Any place but here or there....
Love eye studies. :)

Giger is one of my favourite artists, if I doodle with paint/airbrush without planning anything I tend to end up with something giger-esque, sometimes frustratingly so.

Thanks. Re: eyes (teaching myself how to draw, slowly but surely.) It's funny how influences weave their way into our work. I thought it was super cool I could see Giger in your art.

I especially appreciate folks mentioning what brushes and techniques they use in Procreate. I'm enjoying pencils the most right now. Love this thread. So many talented people.

And this morning, finally tried to draw my favorite Shaw Brothers villain actor (Chan Wai-Man) in two favorite roles. Thrilled with the way these turned out (I understand why they are a bit off, but I am super happy with the end result regardless).

and my most favorite SB character...

Right eye from this screenshot. I love the makeups SB did on him for these two characters. Cannot wait to draw them both again (Hurry up and charge iPad Pro!)
