Yes, Apple lowers the price $100 (if I remember correctly), but don't they also remove the highest memory option? I think you can only get the two lowest tiers.

Or were you talking about the used market?
I was referring to both.

At this point I would definitely just wait.

However, if you plan on waiting till 2017 to get whatever is announced then and want a plus. I'd sell the 6, not trade in and get a used 6 Plus at a deal. 6 Plus to 6S Plus has not been a huge difference. If I had to do over I'd likely have just kept the 6 Plus and waited for 7.

Even if you DO end up buying a 6s, wait until the 7 is released anyway. The price of the 6s will drop, and you will be able to make an informed decision as to whether the 7 is worth paying the extra for.

depends if you need a phone now. I needed one now for work so i got a 6s plus 64gb. i can trade in and upgrade in 12 months if i want. i had a 6 plus before and i can notice the difference between the 2 so i'm happy about my purchase.

As title really - should I get a 6s now, or for the sake of 3 months wait for the 7? (my android phone is on its last legs, told i can have an upgrade and fancy change).

Been offered a 64gb 6s for £33/m with 3gb data on Vodafone. Wondering if it will go down much once the 7 is announced,,,

You're actually going to be waiting 5-6 months for the 7 to be in your hand. That said, prices either go down or stuff gets better for the same price every year in tech (with a few exceptions for currency adjustments).

So the longer you wait the more you get.

I have a 6s+ 128gb but thinking of selling it to make some £££. Got another contract upgrade ive been saving but I think this years phone will have minor improvements with the next big features coming next year.

For that reason im thinking of taking the 2nd upgrade to a 6s 128gb as I want the smaller size. Its a 24 month contract so by the time the 6s+ is up for renewel it will be march 2018 and the iphone "8" will of been out a few months so will get it free again.

Not sure whether to do this or wait, saving my upgrade. Either way the 6+ will be ready for the "8". Ill be dissapointed if the new one has minor improvements and ive waited so long. I could call O2 tomorrow and get a 6s 128gb by friday. Really dont need the + anymore.

1st world problems.

I was borrowing a friend's 128GB iPhone 6 Plus and got way too used to the landscape. They asked for it back, I wept in a room for seven hours, and now I'm back to using my 16GB 5C. First world problem but it's gotten difficult to retrain my brain to get adjusted back to the smaller screen, as well as the limited storage space. I think the 6S is the perfect size and have an upgrade with AT&T Next. Should I get the 6S now or wait three months for the 7?

To be honest, I got the galaxy s7 edge and used my last upgrade to get my 6S back. I'd say do whatever feels right. I have a home phone line that I'll be upgrading to get the 7.

I'm going to go against the grain here.

Rumors point to the 7/6SS being incremental at best, and losing the headphone jack.

If you need a phone today, get a phone today. Waiting is stupid, as there's always something better around the turn. A couple months after the 7 drops it'll be "well, you could just wait for the 7S/8, it'll be way better!".

On another point, if you use the headphone jack, get the 6S/Plus. I use mine daily, and don't plan on giving it up or being forced into some stupid adapter like MacBook users have been.

As a last point, with a new iPhone release coming up, you can get great deals on the current gen. Both used and through carriers. Whether it's a BOGO sale at a carrier, or a big cut on a like new one on Swappa. I saved about $400 on my 128GB 6S Plus, and I'd rather have that money in my pocket and a headphone jack than be on the bleeding edge.

If the 7 eliminates the headphone jack and doesn't offer other MEANINGFUL enhancements I'm going to get a 6s on discount in the fall.

My 6 is starting to have some issues with the lightning connector and was planning to hope it lasts until the 7 is released. But, if the 7 removes the headphone jack, I'd probably rather get the 6s and wait a couple years before I need to upgrade my headphones. Is it pretty certain the headphone jack will be gone, or is just a wild rumor?
