here's mine 🥲

Silver looks really nice with those setups! Both look so clean.

How are the HomePod mini's with the iMac and the new stereo update? I have one HP mini and am trying to decide whether or not I should get a second one to use as the speaker for the iMac or if I should buy a 2.1 set that can plug directly into the Mac to avoid the lag.

From this thread, what Ive learned is this:

From the back, I like: blue, green, and purple.

From the front, I like: green, yellow, and red.

Since I’d push the monitor against a wall and need to stare at the pastel chin, I’d probably get the green or yellow. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ooof…..when “keeping it real” goes too far. 😂
I may clean-up my 'desktop' ... when I retire!

Here’s another photo. Took my monitor arm off and out the stand back on the 27” 5K monitor.

I think I’m the opposite of all the haters around here, the black on my second display is bothering me now. My eyes are drawn to the dark border. But I also switched to light mode after using dark mode for so long (and haven’t changed the wallpaper yet). I also kind of want to switch my desk lamp from black to white, but then it might be too much white since I already have a white desk and white/light grey chair.

I think what fooled me, originally, was how white the bezels appeared in the publicity photos ... but my bezels are not really bright ... they seem subdued. Don't even notice the bezels after a couple of days using the machine (green).

I need iPad and iPhone stands!
surprisingly the color is pretty similar! I have another one that I use for my iPad mini (that normally sits at the back of the desk behind the large iPad and has to stay plugged in! lol!). I've had that since the very first pink iPhone came out. made my elago. the bases were like the old iMacs! (I just noticed how dirty it is, too... time to give it a little bath!)

I had to get a beefier one for the iPad Pro. unfortunately it's not pink *sad* https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DD7G77L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

How do the HomePods work with the iMac? any issues with them?

I only tried them a few minutes on mine cuz I use the home pods with the TV and usually I'm watching tv when playing on the computer. but for me... they sound good and it's an easy switch to choose any of our HomePods just like with the phone I just selected the office pair (not sure if they stay connected once you use them then stop? someone else will have to answer that.)

Do you notice any delay between the audio your hearing through the HomePods and what you are seeing on the screen? I heard there are like audio sync issues. I would love to get a pair for my iMac to use when I don't feel like wearing my AirPods max

with the TV via Apple TV? no. not normally. right before one of the speakers popped and died I was noticing a lag when using live TV via the channels app. but other than that no... no issues.

the only thing I tested for few minutes with the iMac was music... so can't answer on that.

having two looks better imo and the sound quality is far better than the imacs speakers. keep in mind you cannot plug the homepods to the imac

Well, if you want to buy just one HP mini, that wouldn’t be satisfying enough compared to the iMac’s speakers. You should go for a stereo pair HP minis if you wanna outperform the speakers.

surprisingly i had to restart it in order for them to start playing, but so far they’re great. they’re better sounding and crisper than the imac‘s. tried to plug them in to the imac, they wouldn’t work :/
Yep, I've noticed the same. iMac went into sleep, once woke again, the HomePod minis didn't play sound.
