Good luck with that... the have a 14-day return policy... return it for any reason for a refund and repurchase... you'll never stop that.

I can imagine some who would exchange six times and that's ridiculous. It increases prices for the rest of us because Apple won't just absorb that cost.

That would be too much. I won't exchange mine cause the screen is perfect and no cosmetic defects. Next time I get a New Mac and they still offer colors I will change then. I love this 24" iMac in any color

There have been people who excessively abused the policy, and Apple black flagged their account which prevented them from being able to return any further purchases.

I agree that it can get really ridiculous, but they will find a way. As a retired mainframe programmer with over 30 years experience, I can tell you that idiot-proofing is the most difficult part of any process... because the idiots are ingenious in their efforts.

I do like that silver. I got green because I wanted something new and different. But the silver with white bezels might have been different enough from my silver and black 2014 model.

Here's my silver! This is my first Mac in a long time. I've been iPad-only since late 2016. I actually still could be, but I recently started a new WFH job where the ability to view multiple windows and documents at once on a larger screen is extremely helpful. I was actually considering getting a 12.9 iPad for that purpose but then Apple announced the iMacs and I knew this was exactly what I needed. I've been using this all weekend and I can honestly say I've never had a better computer. It's just so fast, the screen is incredible, and it's absolutely perfect for what I need to do. Using it with my 10.5 iPad Pro via Sidecar is just so cool. Together they feel like one big connected machine (which I suppose they are) and it brings touch capabilities directly to the Mac, in a way, for things like signing documents. I love it.

Here’s my Silver iMac 16gb memory 1TB storage, with numeric keypad, touchpad, and mouse. First new mac in ten years. Been holding out for a M1 iMac refresh to update from my 2011 27, that honestly has been a workhorse. (See pictures for comparison) I will say this computer is absolutely amazing, and the smaller screen is actually perfect for me. I don’t feel lost in the display, if that makes sense. Apple definitely knocked it out of the park with this one. Very impressed so far.

Green with white bezels almost disappears in a natural setting. I expect blue would too. Forgive lack of cord management. I have a grommet behind the computer, but requires taking drawers out, so haven't done it yet. First 3 photos are at night and last one is during the day. Don't laugh....but yes, my upstairs office is my bath vanity and I do get a lot of work done there with my morning coffee View attachment 1779420

I ordered TWO for me on the 30th (well actually three, I guess). I ordered my pink and hubby's blue at 5 a.m. Then I started thinking that if I hated the pink cuz apple tends to have their pink be more gold... I didn't want to wait WEEKS to get a replacement. so a short time later I ordered myself a blue that had a delivery date of 1 - 8 June.

so I guess if people couldn't do exhanges... more would just do like I did! (I did cancel the blue I ordered for myself once I received my pink... but had it shipped prior to receiving it... I'd have just returned it unopened!)

well if they are close enough to go into a store an see them in person I don't think anyone would rally be exchanging 6 times. at this soon after release... they are going to have looooooong waits of getting it.... anyone exchanging a color today had to wait to July to even receive a replacement!
