Here's my silver! This is my first Mac in a long time. I've been iPad-only since late 2016. I actually still could be, but I recently started a new WFH job where the ability to view multiple windows and documents at once on a larger screen is extremely helpful. I was actually considering getting a 12.9 iPad for that purpose but then Apple announced the iMacs and I knew this was exactly what I needed. I've been using this all weekend and I can honestly say I've never had a better computer. It's just so fast, the screen is incredible, and it's absolutely perfect for what I need to do. Using it with my 10.5 iPad Pro via Sidecar is just so cool. Together they feel like one big connected machine (which I suppose they are) and it brings touch capabilities directly to the Mac, in a way, for things like signing documents. I love it.

I don't own the M1 Mac mini but it was confirmed that the Touch ID keyboards will work with all M1 machines (excluding iPad Pro), and will work as a normal bluetooth keyboard without functioning TouchID on Intel Macs/other devices!

So far after a few days I don't even notice the white bezels, and I've been using an iMac with black bezels for the last 9 years. I only notice them when the computer is sleeping and I walk into my room :p let me know if there's other pictures you'd like to see
The yellow looks really good. The only thing I can see that you need to work on, is getting a yellow Samsung drive to replace the red one in the background. :p

Here’s another photo. Took my monitor arm off and out the stand back on the 27” 5K monitor.

I think I’m the opposite of all the haters around here, the black on my second display is bothering me now. My eyes are drawn to the dark border. But I also switched to light mode after using dark mode for so long (and haven’t changed the wallpaper yet). I also kind of want to switch my desk lamp from black to white, but then it might be too much white since I already have a white desk and white/light grey chair.

Looks great! I love the orange color I agree, now seeing the iMac next to something with black bezels, the white is so much less distracting. Would be cool if there was a way to have the “hello” parts of the wallpapers align so the second screen continues with the pattern rather than it being mirrored

Love what you’ve done with the USB hub, fastening it onto the bottom of your desk with screwable brackets. I’d thought about a solution like that, but never tried it. Good idea to clean up the wiring!

Green with white bezels almost disappears in a natural setting. I expect blue would too. Forgive lack of cord management. I have a grommet behind the computer, but requires taking drawers out, so haven't done it yet. First 3 photos are at night and last one is during the day. Don't laugh....but yes, my upstairs office is my bath vanity and I do get a lot of work done there with my morning coffee ;)View attachment 1779412View attachment 1779413View attachment 1779418View attachment 1779420
Looks very fitting! Cute dog, too. Now if you can just run the power adapter to the rear of the desk, you’ll be set!

but the Mac mini M1 dos not even have the touch ID icon in settings

That's just a macOS update... the Secure Enclave code is in the M1 chip... so any computer with the M1 chip (or a successor) should be able to connect and use the TouchId without issue. Give it time... besides, you can't ge the new keyboards with the TouchId button yet anyway, except for a purchase with the new iMac... Patience, young grasshopper.

I disliked the design since the beginning, but the silver is really growing on me. Really clean, classic Apple look. It’s definitely my favorite color. My ocd needs me to keep everything dark/black so I’d love to see one in a matte black with a black bezel one day.

Already looks a bit dated. I wouldn't even mind white bezels so long as the chin wasn't there but from the front it just looks a bit odd and nondescript. I feel like the design's modernity comes from the thinness and back colors but for the most part it goes unnoticed when people just have these things against a wall. When the iMac is allowed to stand freely in the middle of the room, it looks nicer.
