And the Mac Pro 7.1 (24 core, Dual Vega II Duo, 394 Go Ram) in an other room.

Awesome - such an usual setup! What cable did you use to get the MP in another room? Is it far away?

Hello,

The monitor (hp dream color z27’’ 2k) is connected by DisplayPort cable of 10m. Mouse and keyboard and panel by USB3 10m.

Best

Left handed?

I see an ergo mouse on right, trackpad on left, so probably still right handed. I'm tempted to try this setup at some point. It's a good way to get the best of both worlds for some workflows.

That Mac Pro looks small compared to everything else on the desk. Curious though, why the Creative T40s and the Yamahas (I think?).

Love the look.

nope right handed. If you are referring to track pad, I use it for scrubbing my timeline when editing.

@Korican100 Mind of sharing what neck rest you got for your Aaron chair?

the atlas headrest. Highly recommend. It’s one of those purchases that was worth every penny.
Looks great! Are those IKEA kitchen table tops?
Nope custom made desktop and backboard. Using wood from lowe

Thanks bud. I use the creatives for general YouTube and reddit etc. then flip on the Yamahas when I’m editing or playing my music workstation

My setup is a treadmill desk so I walk while at the computer; it keeps me more productive, since I don't tend to idly surf the web as much. That said, I am only about 30 inches from the monitors (and less than 24 inches from the wall behind me).

Wow, I've never heard of treadmill desk. How do you type? I'm barely coordinated enough to type without also trying to walk.

I only walk at 1.7 miles per hour. I have used various treadmill desks for 10+ years. I really like them. Some days when I am just processing email I will see that I walked for three hours without realizing it. But even if I bump it up to 2.2 miles per hour (which is my typical max) I would get tired after a couple hours. So I just set it lower and it is common to walk four or five hours in a day.
