What mouse pad do you use? The feet of my MX Master 3 seem wearing fast.

Mac Studio Max (10, 32, 32GB, 2TB), CalDigit TS4, Samsung 49" Odyssey G9 Monitor, Dell U2723QE UltraSharp monitor, Elgato Wave XLR, Shure SM7B mic, Canon M6 MK II mirrorless camera, ATEM Mini, AnkerWork B600 Video Bar, Edifier R1850DB speakers.
Finally someone with a G9. I have many questions….

Do you like the G9?
Any issues with it and the the studio?
How did you connect the G9 and the Dell monitor?
what keyboard is that?

thank you!

Trackpad vs Mouse...used both extensively...to me, hands down a good mouse is more productive. To each their own.
Interesting. I HATE using mice and even insist on the trackpad on my work Windows notebooks. MacBook trackpads are still the best in the business, though.

So far so good. Although I have been having some issues with the Logitech mouse, the scroll wheel just stops working. Hopefully Logitech will provide a solution or I may have to send it back.

The 32" monitor on the left is connected via USB-c (not a thunderbolt supported monitor) and the monitor on the right (which is a fairly old regular old HD monitor) is attached via HDMI.

Yes, I love the real estate of the G9. My only issue is that sometimes it doesn’t wake after sleep but I don’t believe it‘s the monitor’s fault. I use a USB-C to DisplayPort cable. The keyboard is a Keychron K2. It allows me to switch between the Studio and PC when needed.

I bought one of these also... have you tried the picture-by-picture mode??

I was gonna use 2 usb to DisplayPort cables... then toggle back and forth between single screen and double screen depending on the project.

I find PBP very useful. In my previous strategy role, I used it with two inputs to my mini whenever sharing a screen on a big presentation over webex. I do a lot less of that in the current gig, but the mini is now the server, and PBP lets me bring up both the Studio and the mini's screens, and then "push over" the boarder using Universal Control to manage the mini.

Did notice the majority of the setups have the Mac Studio on a short leash next to the monitor, I made use of the 5.5 ft of displayport cable to move it under the desk. Way too many wires around the Mac Studio to have it on the desktop.

A tiny bit of cable management, and then you're done :)
Aye - it's something on my list once I figure out what cables I actually need - I used to have a bunch of fasteners, and I've lost them.. back to Amazon I guess!
