That's the magic of Apple's leverage. Even though they can't control how websites are built and can't force them to offer sign in with Apple on their websites, with apps adding Sign In With Apple, they must also offer it on their website so that their app users can log in.

A growing list of websites have Sign In With Apple. When you hit Sign In With Apple on a website, if it's on an iPhone or iPad, it'll sign in just like an app. If it's on a Mac, you'll be asked to sign in to your Apple ID on that Mac if you're not already. If you're on Windows or Android, there's a specific code that you can generate to log you in.

Ultimately, Sign In With Apple works best within the Apple ecosystem. If you're a Windows PC and Android household, maybe Sign In With Apple is not the right thing for you.
I have a MBP and use Safari on both iPhone and MBP but Just Eat website only has Sign in with FB so looks like unless they add it to the website I can only use the app. It's not a problem as I only use the app anyway but I was just curious!

I considered that but when you Sign Up with Apple, the usual card pops up, but without the anonymous email relay option. They then ask you for your email before proceeding. This seems like a loophole, though I'm not entirely sure Apple expected it.
That’s ludicrous if all apps are allowed to not offer the hidden email option in the first place. That should only be allowed for apps that require real email addresses for good reason. I haven’t actually tried siwa yet so maybe I don’t have a good grasp on how it works, but isn’t this less of a loophole and more of just non-compliance?

I suspect that they’ll correct that sooner or later. It’s not in their best interest to prevent some of their customers from using their site.

This is the one I've been waiting for. They have very regular updates, like every week or two so it's only a matter of time. Zoom is an app that I only reluctantly use and would love to have my account be private.

I was able to sign in online with this. I deleted my old reddit account, and created a new one yesterday.
Did you manage to login to the app after you’d done it? I can get it to work if I use the website on my iPhone but not on my mbp for some reason. On my mbp when I press the SIWA button nothing happens.

I exceeded an untested Sign In With Apple limit and broke iCloud.

I’ve been having trouble getting into my iCloud settings lately. iCloud would just time out. This would happen in my iPhone and iPad‘s iCloud settings resulting in a spinning circle that would stop and not let me in to my settings. Then when I tried to get into my settings at appleID.apple.com, it would go into a sign in loop, signing in and signing out, non stop. If I got in, it would suddenly break and show me unknown errors.

I called Apple support and they weren’t able to solve my problem. They scheduled a call with an Apple engineer with me this morning. It turns out I had a number of apps in my account signed in with my Apple ID that they just didn’t plan for. I exceeded the limit they’d tested on and nobody else had yet come across this error. During the call, I managed to delete many of my unused app accounts that I had just used for testing.

I have a more reasonable number now but most of us will grow the number of app accounts eventually as every app adopts Apple’s sign in format. Apple is now aware of the problem and will presumably fix whatever server issue I was encountering in expectation of Sign In With Apple adoption.

Has anyone managed to successfully sign in go Yelp with Apple?

It has never worked for me. After it fails, the error message conveniently directs you to signing up with your email instead.

Shazam has just been updated but still no sign of SIWA.

Sleep Cycle and QuizUp have both added support but it’s not mentioned in either release note.

Apple not following their own rules. 🤦🏼‍♂️

SIWA seems to be gone from My Fitness Pal, only showing FB or email as sign up options.

I just downloaded it to check. Still there for me.

Had 11 app updates this morning and not a single one mentioned SIWA.

Not all apps get Sign In With Apple. Only those with social media logins. Which apps did you update?

There might also be apps that submitted before the deadline and are now getting approved. It might take a few days to start seeing post June 30 submissions.

Uber’s top competitor in SouthEast and East Asia, Grab, a car hailing service, food delivery, express delivery, bills payment, and banking & mobile payment app has added full integration of SIWA with option to merge account and hiding email. Although the email and phone numbers of the accoung stil remains unchanged which is reasonable for me since it’s a banking and mobile payment service too.

This one is pretty huge. Zoom now has Sign In With Apple!

While Zoom does allow you to hide your email during signup, it jumps over to a browser and then requests your date of birth and your email address. I inserted the private relay email Apple shows for Zoom but I never do receive the confirmation that Zoom requires.

Post Pact added Sign In With Apple and Google’s sign in and removed Facebook. This is the way to go. Facebook has no business being the gateway to other apps in the App Store and Google Play Store. Let Apple and Google handle their respective user logins.

You think this is a technical problem or is zoom not playing nice?
