This app, and the Tuner app from Nullriver are both essentials... Love both of them. Now if I can just buy a car charger, I'd be golden.

Thanks for the thumbs up. :)

But I do wish that the Apple App Store had a "shareware" approach to things.....

I would like to "test drive" the Nullriver app compared to lets say the AOL app...

Another lazy question, how come my movies aren't showing up?

Does simplify media simply show the movies in the movies library?

Sounds like a cool app... but it requires Wifi/Edge/3G...which means as it streams your tunes, its going to be using your data connection...aka DRAINING the battery which already drains fast. Its not worth it folks. The iPod feature in the iPhone hardly uses any juice.

Battery power is much easier to come by for an iPhone than storage space. Sorry it is more than worth it.

It is stunning how some people freak out at the thought of their battery being used on the phone. That is what the battery is there for, to power the phone while you do cool things with it.

It is almost like a guy who won't kiss a girl because he is worried about getting a venereal disease.

I listened to several hours of Simplify Media today without issue.

So "scanning libraries" on my MacBook has been going on for a while- at least 15 minutes so far.

Is this what everyone has experienced so far?

Weird.

I haven't even had a chance to connect using my iPhone. I figured the Mac app had to scan my computer first, and when it's done, it will be ready to connect to the iPhone app. Am I wrong? Should it have connected right away?

Having the same problem as the people above me.
I dont know whats going on. Did it take everyone a long while for it to
finish scaning libraries? Or is it just not working?

I have a feeling that "Scanning libraries" is stuck there because it cant connect to the server to upload your status (its been killed by users) and the developer did not account for this.

It will probably work again soon.

wow! amazing thread. sorry I don't have time for longer post, but for folks waiting for all of their songs to be indexed, let it run. Reset starts the process over. once the scan is complete, files lists are cached.

one other point. your song lists don't hit our servers. scan time is a function of the size of your library, not our network activity.
