Having trouble

I'm trying to get this working using my library on an external drive. Has anyone been able to do this succesfully? I have sharing enabled and have selected my iTunes music folder from the app but it doesn't show up. Any advice?

wow.. just because the both stream music doesnt make them the same app.. they arent even CLOSE!! thats lke saying that this is just like my FM radio! it still plays music as long as it is turned on and tuned in...

Its NOTHING like Pandora. its your OWN music.. and shared music from friends.

for all of you having issues.. check your itunes sharing preferences.. make sure you are allowing sharing. I had NO issues connecting to my rather large library.

amazing app!

This thing's amazing! I have access to huge amounts of music on my iPhone, without having to take up the space on it! Didn't need the 16GB iPhone?!! And up to 30 other people's?? That's many gigs of music "on" my iPhone! Plus I can access it anywhere! (As long as the desktop app is running and the Mac isn't asleep!!) Awesome stuff. :)

One thing - in the desktop app prefs, isn't "sharing" just for sharing with to other people's accounts? Or do you have to have sharing on to listen to your own account? I've been experimenting to try to find out which, but I can't work out if if it was just a bad connection when I had "share nothing" selected in the desktop app.

I have it working, I just went into preferences, sharing, my music folder, and then manually chose my music folder. Took a while to get everything uploaded but it's working.

you NEED to be sharing in order to share with yourself.. itunes doesnt know that YOU own the iphone that its coming from because its coming over their servers.. so theres no id for the phone.. so yes, you NEED to have share ON for yourself

well i got it to show up on my phone and it's working but it's only showing 253 songs as my whole library. Where are the other 25683 songs? It only syncd a portion of my library.

Edit: I see now that it's up to 500 songs syncd...it's just going very slow

awesome!!!!

this thing is really cool. 16gb? Who needs it? Not for music, anyway.
My favorite feature is the lyrics button. Tap that and the lyrics will be on your screen. It doesn't work for all my songs but most of them. This program is great.

I'd prefer if the application ran in the top menu bar in Mac OS X so that I don't have to have an application running in the dock for no reason.

Same here. They really need to work on that as its an annoyance to have it in the dock serving no purpose (really).
