T-Mobile rep finally called me back to do JOD order. Tried to process my card for pre-authorization and declined (supposedly). We tried 3 other cards (4 total, 4 different credit cards, 4 banks) and they all denied. I said there’s absolutely no way they’re all getting denied; everything is correct. So they said we’ll call you back when we know it’s working again, there may still be issues. SMH. I did put an order in through apple, 10/3-10 delivery. I’ve been thinking about getting off JOD and doing trade in with apple each year as the trade in values have been so high. We’ll see what happens.
This happened over and over with me, too. It finally went through on about the fifth or sixth time with the first card we had tried. She had to input everything all over again.

This was about 11 a.m. central. It's a T-Mobile problem, not a you problem. Trust.

So I can’t get launch day now because of all the issues if I go through apple (which will only be $30). If I go trough T-Mobile it’s more money now and on my bill but it’s launch day.
 
Anyone know how I can go about canceling my order with t-mobile. I just seen they are only giving me $405.00 trade in on my 12 Pro max 256gb.
That and the ship date being later then I was told by the Rep I’ll just try and buy one at an apple store and get the $530 trade for my phone.

Call T-Mobile customer service. That seems to the easy way to get through to them today.

You sure the rest isn’t in bill credits? If you have a max plan you should be getting $1k total.
 
T-Mobile was a mess this morning. From 7 am to 9:30 am CT, the verification process through Apple didn't work because T-Mobile servers were down. I was getting a message from Apple that my T-Mobile line was not active. T-Mobile servers came back up around 9:30 am and then I was able to pre order my iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB through Apple with T-Mobile financing but with delivery for Oct 10th :( The bright side is that after trading in my iPhone 12 Pro, I'm getting $1000 in credits and will only pay $8.30 a month. If I do it with T-Mobile directly, I can get it for Sep 16th but I would pay $19 a month plus the iPhone will be locked to T-Mobile until paid off. With Apple, the iPhone will be unlocked since day 1 even with T-Mobile financing. So at the end, I'm keeping my order with Apple and patiently I'll be waiting until Oct 10th.

Anyone know what the "Your rate plan:" comes from? This is before checkout. It just doesn't line up with my T-mobile bill and not sure where they got that $55.00/mo from

This is what I ended up doing, as well. Poor lady at Apple had no idea what the reservation numbers were and the system didn’t find it. T-Mobile was not help either. 🤬

is there only one line on your Tmobile account?

Mine showed up as $220/mo, and I have 4 lines on my account. I only pay $140 on my Magenta Max plan
 
Finally ordered thru apple. Able to pickup on the 17th. SO not too bad. Apple just had a better trade in deal. lowered my payment like $20.

I still haven't got the email to order from my reservation this morning. Part of me thinks I should just order with the later delivery date so I don't risk the dates slipping again if the link I get to order from my reservation screws up.
 
I had the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with T-Force this morning on Twitter. I pre order through them every year and never have any major issues….but this year was a complete nightmare.

Last night they recommended I reach out about an hour early so I can beat the rush and that’s what I did. This was the entire process:

7:03 AM - I messaged them.

7:23 AM - Finally got a reply and they basically said we’ll get the process started

8:53 AM - Over an hour later and 999 replies from me wondering where the hell they were, they finally replied and apologized slightly and just acted like they didn’t disappear for over an hour. They ask for more of the required information regarding models, colors, and storage size.

9:49 AM - Another hour with no communication even though I supplied all of the info she needed. She finally replies again and asks more questions. I answer them.

10:55 AM - Another hour with no communication. At this point I’m convinced I’ll get the phones by December. Very frustrated by now.

11:02 AM - Oh hold on…. Her replies are starting to come in more quickly. What is happening? A stroke of luck? She asks more questions and has me finally pay for the first upgrade. Pay it. Wait again.

12:11 PM - Nevermind. Back to the hour pauses. Finally processes the payment.

12:17 PM - Get the first EIP agreement email. Sign it immediately. She states she’ll start on the second line upgrade now.

12:23 PM - Usual order confirmation message with the order number and terms. Starts second upgrade.

12:31 PM - Confirming preferences for 2nd phone. Confirm everything

12:55 PM - 2nd order review. Agree and authorize.

1:03 PM - Receive order number and terms information. Also sign the second EIP agreement.

1:05 PM - FINALLY done. 5 damn hours later. Somehow both phones will arrive on launch day. A miracle from all accounts.

I 100% understand they were experiencing system issues the entire time but holy crap I was absolutely and unequivocally convinced I wouldn’t get launch day dates but here we are.

Anyway… here’s what I got:

Me - iPhone 14 Pro 128 GB in Deep Purple

Wife - iPhone 14 Pro 128 GB in Black

Definitely not a fun journey today. At least I finally got them ordered though.
 
Got my orders in around 1PM today and it still shows shipping ‘by 9/16’ so idk if I’ll definitely get it by Friday or if it’ll ship by Friday but that’s not too bad for so late in the day. I would not have upgraded if it wasn’t free!

I decided to try and call back. Found out you need a customer service rep, and not sales. My new order isn’t in the system yet, but she said once it was, they might be able to honor the reservation ship times. Fingers crossed!

oh thanks, so sounds like I shouldn't have to worry about that? I have 3 lines with Select Choice and the bill is $119

Gold PM 1TB
Black Pro 1TB
Silver Pro 128GB 256GB 512GB (very surprised by this - didn't think this was a popular phone or maybe it is and there just aren't as many lol)
Seems like you can get any combination of the Purple, which I thought for sure people would be scooping up.
 
Finally got through on T-Mobile’s website at 10:30am EST. Normally, I order directly through Apple but I wanted that full, $1,000 promo with launch day delivery. Still quite a few variations showing delivery for the 16th.

so I ordered through apple with the t mobile trade in but it says to bring my phone to apple. am I giving my old phone to apple or t mobile ?

I’m glad to see some variations starting to slip past launch. Maybe it’s a sign they actually know stock levels.
 
You can still get the full $1000 promo if you order through Apple. You just need to select T-Mobile financing. Apple will take the trade-in credit directly off the phone and then T-Mobile gives you the rest in bill credits.
