Finally got my reservation email from Apple but now they are telling me my number cannot be upgraded. I have a Magenta Max plan and it’s not a business line. Not sure what’s going on.

I finally got my email from Apple to complete my order and it was surprisingly smooth after hearing what others went through. My order is officially placed!

Apple really messed up with this one
Same. I wish I didn't wake up at 5AM my time to pre-order.. when their systems were down. I called back at 1:30 PM and they had the purple ready to ship. I did get them to waive the $35 admin fee for a "phone support" on this JOD. Sucks that JOD can't be done online - and when you can't do it online, you have to call in and they have to charge you.
Like most, today wasn't ideal. Can I cancel an EIP agreement with T-Mobile? Delivery would be next Friday. However, with the same trade in, my Apple order would give me a 256gb over a 128gb and is actually $16/month compared to my T-mobile order of $19/month.
So monthly installment is cheaper, double the storage, and unlocked device via Apple. I would have to wait until my Oct 10-17 "as of right now" delivery date.
I can cancel my EIP still correct via TMO? I can wait the 3 weeks if needed.

Seen on another site someone say that’s the price of the plan before discounts.
I checked my bill on T-Mobile site, apparently I’m saving $99 in discounts, it pretty matches up with the rate plan on Apple.
I just got another link with my reservation number and it worked.
I canceled my first order (without reservation) which was arriving on 10/10. And now I purchased using reservation and it shows it as arriving on 10/3!
How did you get another link? I‘ve talked to 4 Apple employees and no one has been able to help. Did you request a new link or was it sent automatically?
Just canceled my order with Apple for iPhone 14 Pro Max 256GB with delivery date of Oct 10 - 17 and placed it again directly with T-Mobile, got the same $1000 trade in credit and delivery date of Sep 16th.
If you are on Magenta Max like I do, you get the same $1000 trade in deal regardless if you do it with Apple or T-Mobile. The main difference is that with Apple, the trade in value is equally divided by 24 months, while with T-Mobile, the trade in value goes into your T-Mobile account as a 1 time credit. In my case, with Apple I was going to pay $8.30 monthly and with T-Mobile is now $19.11 but I get $360 deposited in my T-Mobile account as a 1 time credit towards my phone bill.
Did the same, cancelled first order (without reservation) went to purchase using the new link for reservation and I am again getting “we cant find your reservation“ error. Ugh 😩
I opted to go with Apple for that reason. They also give you the option to put a down payment to lower the monthly cost per month. I added $99 down and therefore my bill for the phone comes out to $0 a month after bill credits and trade in.
