Ok, I called T-Mobile a very nice sexy rep answer my call. Politely I explain the situation with super friendly tune and I asked for a $50 credit and she gave me without any question a $50 + Tax!!! credit into my account :D Oh I should've asked $100 maybe :cool:

Last year I had ground shipping for iPhone 8 launch. I got it on release day. Wait till 8am on 9/21 to see what’s going on. You maybe surprised with a new delivery date

But did the T-Mobile app say you have ground shipping for the 8 launch or did My Choice say ground shipping? If My Choice/tracking number was telling you that you'd be getting the 8 a week later but you woke up the next day to find the tracking had updated for delivery that day... well that's something else entirely.

even though my delivery date is 9/26 but I still believe that it would come tomorrow, because they will transit all the phones together to destination (Southern California) and will see out phone tomorrow morning in LA or OC.

Wishful thinking, but - the phones that were next day air or 2nd day were shipped together on a plane. That’s why most people that got 2nd Day are still getting theirs tomorrow. The ones that were ground were loaded on a train.

Just got my origin scan at 6:50 est. Estimated delivery is 9/24.

I know complaining about not getting the latest iPhone on launch is a first world problem, but it’s pretty frustrating that 1) I have excellent history with T-Mobile and still had to pay a down payment, and 2) People who didn’t stay up late or wake up will walk out of stores tomorrow with phones.

Isn’t the whole point of preordering right when pre orders open to guarantee a phone on launch?

That’s how it should be! I don’t think this preorder was as bad as the 7/7+ launch though. That traumatized me lol

I apologize I have been following this forum for the last 2 years quietly but never posted. Decided to create an account and post. I ordered the Max Gold 256GB around 12:03 through the app with a delivery date of 09/21. I got charged on Sunday and got the departure scan today morning. I see an update from 5pm for a departure scan and still see delivery for tomorrow end of day via 2nd day air saver. I did not pay or choose a shipping preference.

Went to a local Tmobile store. The guy wouldn't confirm nor deny that they have any in stock or if they were going to have any in stock tomorrow. He said there was no way he would hold on to one for me too. He did say store are opening 2 hours earlier (8am), but that was it

I went into my local store today. I heard the rep talking on the phone to another store and he said they got no phones and they were opening at 8 AM. Bummer. I was going to try and get one but decided to just order it through the chat.

Thats part of the problem. The app had free second day air shipping. But, for many people, me included, on preorder night, the app wasnt working. So I had to call in and order. When I did, I assumed that shipping would be the same, and it was never disclosed as any different. On the EIP it shows ground shipping, so I should have caught it then, but it was after midnight, and I didnt read it as closely as I should have. They did a terrible job this year explaining what was going on, and every rep was telling people different things.

Most app and online orders received shipping upgrades. Phone orders got ground unless the customer asked for an upgrade.
