I think once it ships I'm gonna call and see if I can get the shipping credited back by saying people online said they got theirs waved lol

So did some of us get duped with various shipping costs? I wasn't offered overnight as an option. She said 2-3 day express for $15 or 5-7 day for something cheaper. My order said ship by the 21st. I did the express. Am I getting it on release like some of you are with overnight. I'm slightly annoyed.
Just got the gold XS MAX! But screw tmobiles EIP. They wanted to charge me like $500 down $37 monthly payments, the heck.? I went on apples website and they charged me $180 down w/ $50 monthly payments. I’m sticking with apples upgrade program from now on

Quick question: my wife and I both have iPhones with T-Mobile. I am primary account holder. I have an iPhone X, paid for outright. She has an iPhone 8 Plus through Apple’s IUP.
Tonight I preordered an iPhone Xs on t-mobile through the Apple Store app under her Apple account under her iPhone upgrade program. I used my credit card with our home as shipping, etc. everything went through smoothly. She does not care about her phone so our plan is she will take my iPhone X and I will get the iPhone Xs.
Will it be just a matter of me popping in my SIM card into the new iPhone Xs and putting her SIM card into the iPhone X that was previously mine? Will everything then just switch phones and we will be off and running?

The new iPhone Xs will come with a SIM card in it. When you activate the phone, the SIM in the iPhone Xs will now be her's and the one in the iPhone 8 Plus will be worthless. Switch yours to the iPhone Xs and the one from the iPhone Xs to the X. Make sure she is with you when you do this, because her current SIM will quit working. I learned this from experience of stranding my wife with no phone service
I had to call in. The line had some kind of iPhone upgrade program on it, and that was causing the lower value being offered.
It won't go past this point... I click continue and get a pink circle then it goes away. wtf?

Thanks so much! That makes sense. Activate the new SIM in the new phone and then switch it out to the X and put mine in the XS. There will not be any issues with T-Mobile identifying who’s phone is who’s on our shared account page, right? okay... now I'm stuck at the "Your trade-in device is eligible for promotion" What in the flying fig? My wife is gonna be pissed that I got a new phone and she didn't.
Ordered 2 iPhones Xs Max 256gb space grey for me and silver for my wife called in at 11:55 my wife got threw faster then me for some reason. the rep kept saying she couldn’t do the process because to many people are calling in... so she told me to try online or the app so I did I got my order in but for some reason had an issue with my wife’s line saying it was in eligible and again she couldn’t do anything so I hung up n called again talk to another rep rite away and got her phone both phones say ships on 9/21 with free shipping no expedited shipping. Took about a hour for all that.
