Tried the app. It kept freezing up on my $500 whatever dollar trade in for my 256 GB X. Tried the website on mobile and it kicked me out a few times but was still done by 3:31 Eastern and have my 256 GB Space Grey Xs Max delivering to my work on the 21st.
Ordered two watches and X max 64gb space Grey. Did the watches via phone csr, who was telling me I had to pay off JOD lease on my X before doing the new phone! Was on Twitter messaging at same time, and ordered phone on there for $109.99. Was able to order watches via phone call. 611 kept telling me they were closed until 6am, too. Called a different toll free number to Finally get through. Took 45 minutes altogether.
Just got told $99 down for the 64gb Max with trade-in of my 8 plus. That's with the iphone upgrade program through T mobile (which is different from Apple's I guess lol). She didn't mention JUMP at all. But I'm still thinking about it tbh. The phone's nice but I'm getting a little tired of this treadmill.
You would be better off doing it now I think. I placed an order last night and i realized it was wrong after I signed the agreement. Called back and placed a new order and when I said others were getting free 2 day shipping (and I also remembered they waived the shipping last year), they waived it.

Hate to tell you this, but were drastically overcharged. Should be $109 down plus tax and $40 per month. If you make all the payments, it will work out the same, but you shouldn’t have to pony up such a huge down payment.
Ordered a Gold iPhone XS Max 64gb via imessage within the last hour and still got a shipping/delivery date of 9/21. I’m surprised. I wonder if demand is low due to the price, and most are going with the XS/waiting for the XR.
I know this isn't a perfect situation, but they have phones you can get for $150 ($6 a month). Once you switch your JOD phone to a cheap android phone, order directly through Apple with $0 down. This gets you out of Jump today and sets you on the path to yearly iPhone upgrades done correctly.
What pisses me off most is someone NOT on Jump can trade in their phone every year, get the $300 to cover the down payment and tax (most), and be on their way. I have a program specifically designed to change my phone without hassle and I forced to pay $300 out of pocket.
Legere really dropped the ball on this one. This was an altered Jump program, meaning they had experience with Jump programs in the past. He always says "when we make a change, it's for good". This program screws over people that "jumped" into their strategy, only to have it backfire on them. Honestly, they should allow people on Jump to trade in their phone, get out of Jump, and start an EIP w/ no down payment (so people can easily get out of a screwed up program).
The vast majority of us on Jump paid $109 down. Do you have credit issues?
And it may not necessarily be credit issues either -- tenure as well. 10 months ago for the X, I was 2 months shy of having 3 years with Tmo and I got hit with the 279 down.. 800+ credit.
Wow, I would have pitched a fit. My score is around 700 and I just paid $109. Sure I've been with T-mobile a long time, but that shouldn't matter that much.
So I'm currently ordering the Xs Max via Messages app. They quoted me on "free 5 - 7 day shipping". I've always had my phones on launch day, what's the change? Is anyone else getting this?

T-Force Rep hit me with $279 down on JoD. 700 credit, 11 month customer. But.... T-Mobile.com allowed 0 down on EIP for one of my other lines... so I did that, I will take my existing JoD line and Jump to a Revvl (Cheap $7/mo phone... $150 total), buy it out and probably get $100 on eBay.... so $50ish gets me out of the $750ish still owed on my iPhone 8 Plus.
Many of us, including myself, got free 2-day shipping. Call back and complain.
Yep, with Jump, and my previous iPhone X, I paid $467 down....I’m pretty sure that that is going to turn a lot of customers off.
How is it possible TMO still has most of the Xs Max models still available for 9/21? I remember from the 6Plus and 7Plus pre orders it was like this also but near release date customers were getting their dates changed. TMO did take care of us with credits and provided great customer service.
For the 6Plus it took so long and I had my date changed multiple times that I got multiple credits. 2 months I still didn't get my 6 Plus 128GB that I found an Apple store that had the Verizon one in stock and purchased it. The 7 Plus wasn't as bad but still took a month longer than I had liked.
