You can go in the morning but you’ll be waiting a while because they’ll need to bring any packages that are being held to the front where they can be picked up.

There’ll also be a lot of people doing the same thing you’re doing and showing up first thing in the morning. I like to go in the afternoon so I can get in and get out without much fuss.

check the hours my UPS CC doesn't open until 3pm. which is good for me cause ups doesn't deliver to me until after 6

Might as well wait for the UPS driver to show up if you’re going to do that.

Customer center is the way to go. You will get it on the same day it’s supposed to be delivered. I’ve done this for hundreds of packages. Haven’t experienced a single delay.

And just to be clear -- when you normally get UPS deliveries, if you look at the last town shown when it says "Out for Delivery" -- thats where the CC is. Essentially the CC is at the same location where the truck for your address would load up and return. If you request to be held at anywhere other than that CC, it can (but not always) introduce a delay.

That's not ALWAYS the case. In DFW we get shipments from 3 locations.

I tried adding my company address to my account and it says "this is a commercial address" or something along those lines

My company's address is my residential address. Wondering if there's a way to add that to MyChoice.

If I have UPS hold my package at the hub, what does UPS require for me to pick up a package sent to my company's name?

So does most people's shipping say UPS Ground? Or Next Day Air Saver?

If I recall last year it was Next Day Saver so I'm worried about whether orders will actually make it for launch day this year. Has anyone been able to get a straight answer on this issue?

I would contact UPS and ask.

No answer unfortunately but a few of us do have UPS ground. I'm on the west coast too(Utah) so no way it's getting here by Friday if it does ship ground.

The phone I originally ordered on Friday on my sales confirmation said ground.. I canceled that order Monday and re-ordered with free overnite Monday. New sales confimation said overnite, and my UPS tracking says Next Day Air Saver

Lol this is so frustrating as every previous year this has not been an issue. And I worry that any changes now might mess things up.

So they had to fully cancel the order to change shipping? Lord well there is no way I'm doing that. Way too risky.

Like I said don't trust the reps. I called T-Mobile in reference to an accessory question. It's always starts out with either, Do you wanna switch to T-Mobile One or How did you get that rate plan Nick? Well, I start out asking my simple question.... What accessories does T-Mobile have for the new iPhone Xs Max? She thinks I want to order the new phone. (I have speech/talking issues). So I try my best to speak slowly, So she finally understood me. Tells me she can't find that information for me. >LOL< Said I can have 13 more lines, Would I like to add some? I said I can't with my plan. So no thanks. Confirms that but then, she goes on and tells me I can get a discount on T-Mobile One. The Monthly price with Auto-Pay is $70. Would you like to switch? I wasn't pissed off, Just mad that she calls the everyday price a discount. So at this point. I'm like you can't pull up information on what accessories you offer? But have all the time in the world to convince me to switch plans? Whatever. So I said how is $70 a discount? That's the everyday price, I hope your not using that on other customers. That's a lie. "Well with all the features included it's a steal at the discounted rate of $70". "I'm not forcing you to switch plans, I would prefer you to stay on your plan, Since you got a grandfather plan". Again, I'm stumped, I asked again. Why would you ask me, knowing I wouldn't switch and How is $70 a discounted rate, Since I can walk into every T-Mobile Store and get this plan at $70? "Actually Sir, It's $75, But I'm saving $5 if you turn Auto-Pay on." I just hung up after that nonsense. Some reps will do anything to boost their numbers. lol

Mine shows next day air savers. I'm assuming, We'll all get them at launch but if not. Then I feel sorry that T-Mobile screw this launch up for the majority of us.

I feel bad for the Verizon and AT&T folks. I was reading in their forums and they don’t have the option to see the IMEI number of their new phone in the account. I know I was never able to with AT&T. I feel like T-Mobile is taking over, which is why I switched.

Based on past experience and from what people are saying shipping will be next day air once ups gets them. I'm hoping this year is the same. I'm currently showing ground shipping. Last year I was ground but got the X next day air.
[doublepost=1537386446][/doublepost]UPS should start taking possession of phones today. Origin scans are coming.

Oh man I’m finally able to order and now T-Mobile is showing the Xs 64g out of stock! not even delayed shipping. I wonder if this is a mistake.

I'd take my chances, and walk into a store friday morning. At least then you have a shot, albeit small, to get a phone. Maybe not the color you want though. If you're dead set on color, then preorder now, and youll get it whenever.

I’m in the same boat. Was hoping to order today but I’m just going to take my chances Friday morning and take what I can get.

So under my JOD lease page it told me active shipped and had the IMEI number. But still didn’t have the tracking info. Asked T-Mobile for it via Messanger and they gave it to me in the span of a few minutes. Werk it TMobile!

So to update you guys. I got on the phone with a supervisor. There was no way to upgrade the shipping at this point without cancelling the order and he was unable to tell me if it could still arrive on launch day with UPS Ground. I was super pissed off so I got them to give me a bill credit as I was assured on the phone at the time of ordering that the shipping was good for launch day delivery.

It seems like it could go either way but given that it specifically changed compared to last year and they are aware of that at the call center I don't like my odds.

So we will see what happens Friday but I'm no longer keeping my hopes up. Every year there is another problem with my T-Mobile pre-order.

All that means is that it’s packaged with a shipping label and ready to ship. Unless you have and origin scan on UPS it’s not moving. Most of us are in the same boat.
