Does anyone know if the 12 will do anything to improve reception on the T-Mo network? I have an X right now and the reception in some areas where I live is horrible. Often times, I have only 1 bar and at times it even even drops to straight 4G (not LTE 4G). When that happens, I can't connect to the web and have troubles making calls. So I am hoping the 12 might improve reception somewhat, outside of even 5G, which is limited in central Florida from what I can tell.

Thanks for any thoughts.
The new iphones will no longer have intel modems and will have qualcom which will be 100x better.

I believe the Qualcomm modem is better than Intel's. Also, iPhone X may not support all of T-Mobile's LTE bands (B71-600?) so just having that may already help.

Thanks for the replies. I had a brain fart and forget that Qualcomm will be supplying the modems. So I guess I am in on a 12. Not sure whichone yet. It won't be the Max. Too big for me. I can barely reach everything on my X!

If the phone is the same price as last year down payment should be near 530 for pro max.

The iPhone XS Max was the last phone I said I would pay a large down payment for. I put down $449.99 for the XS Max and ended up paying $397.62 for 18 months. Before I fully paid it off I had already paid $847.61 out of the $1249.99, and that’s the reason why I said to buy the phone outright this year.

That’s what I’m going to do also. And also not buying a locked T-Mobile device.

For me I’m going to get the iPhone 12 plus or max. Because I have the iPhone 11 red color. And I can trade in the old iPhone 11. have to buy the new iPhone 12 max/plus. And I have been waiting for over a year to upgrade to the iPhone 12 max for me. And also for the month of when the iPhone 12s we’re going to be released so that I can pick the right iPhone 12 when the iPhone 12 or the iPhone 12 max/plus iPhone 12 pro or the iPhone 12 pro max. when the release date comes out. for the first or second week or October. or in November for the second or third week in November. hopefully that the iPhone 12 5.4 inch screen. or the iPhone 12 max or plus the 6.1 inch screen. I have to wait about 1 to 3 months for me. to save up enough money to get the iPhone 12 max. for when the release date. does come to the iPhone 12 iPhone 12 plus. Or the iPhone 12 pro or the iPhone 12 max. So many options. To choice from to get the iPhone 12 plus. I will be happy for when the final details or the designs. or also the release dates and months. for the iPhone 12. or the iPhone 12 max/plus. or also the iPhone 12 pro. or also the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

I saw this video. Seeing it again make me want to preorder now. I don’t even need to see the keynote to make a final decision. I’m buying no matter what.

I know. It looks amazing. I am really excited for the 5G and larger screen.

My jailbroken XS Max is still on 13.5. I’m not going to upgrade my S4 Apple Watch neither until my 12 Pro Max is in my hands.

anyone else's reception on T-mobile been super crap lately?

I don't know if it's because I tried their internet service which doesn't work well in my area. Or if they are updating lines for 5g. Or if all the sprint people now on the network is making it super crappy.

They are updating in my area too.

Hoping my 128 GB 7 will make the cut for any iPhone trade in deals through T-Mobile. Getting the 12 mini.

I’ve been thinking about the new 12 Pro... give myself a bit of an upgrade and after seeing the blue on the AW6 (which I’m getting this weekend), I kinda want that color.
