I’m never done a trade in before with T-mobile online. I’ve only ever done it in stores how does that work?
The trade is works like the store. If you are JOD you turn your phone into the store. If you are JUMP you mail your phone back in after you transfer your data.
Might do a trade in at Declutter for my iPhone X. They’re offering $380 for the 256GB model, so I find it hard to believe that I’d get more that that T-Mobile and obviously the Apple Store. That deal is with a promotional 10% bonus with INSIDERTEN promo code. I don’t work for them, I swear. It just seems like the best deal. Waiting to see when the preorder/release dates will be so I’m not phone-less for any period of time.
From the leaks we won’t be able preorder until November 6 and on. I’m so impatient to order the 12 Pro Max 256GB/512GB in silver.
What is the advantage, if any, of ordering from T-MO as opposed to ordering directly from Apple, which is what I usually do?
I've been getting phones annually from T-Mobile (billed monthly on my account) because I've got Jump On Demand (JoD) and it has been working out easily for me. I check every year to see which way would work best for me. I'm waiting to see what this year's offers are from T-Mobile.

I'm conflicted between the 12 mini and the 12 Pro. I'm on Jump and last year with the 11 Pro, I had to pay an absurd $250 not including taxes with the downpayment. I wonder if it's still the same this year if I were to get the 12 Pro. These prices seem to go up every year so I wonder how much the 12 Pro would cost. If it's the same, I'd rather just take a smaller hit with the 12 mini.
