Other T-Mobile iPhone 13/Mini & Pro/Pro Max Pre Order Thread

Paid off my EIP on my 12 Pro and ordered the 13 Pro Max thru T-Mobile website on 9/17 . . . they estimate the 13PM will arrive 10/5. They were advertising $1000 for the trade-in of my 12P, but the website didn't make it clear how this was distributed. All I saw was I was getting $590 for my 12P - no mention of the remaining $410. So I called customer service, and the rep told me the remaining $410 would come in the form of monthly bill credits. She then sent me an internal email that describes the deal to their reps. I've attached that email here in case anyone finds it helpful.

I did have to upgrade from Magenta to Magenta Max, but it was only $15 more per month and I think the extra benefits of the plan are worth it for that price along with the trade-in deal.

I didn’t see any promo pricing other than that, so though you will get a trade in value if the phone you currently have are paid off, it won’t be as much as it would if you were on a qualifying plan. Thank you for your reply - it was helpful. I have friends here in Seattle who work in at TMO, but they do not seem to know about this.

I actually decided to go for Best Buy trade in for myself. The new phone will cost me 99 dollars with my iPhone 12 Pro trade in. We are under the One Plan Unlimited. However, I just realized that my spouse's iPhone 12 Pro is under Equipment Installment Plans & Leases. We got the older phone trade in with a 30-month credit of 10 dollars last year. We still have 19 months left.

I hear that if we traded in that phone by paying off early, we would lose the monthly 10 dollar credit (190 bucks in total) so it might not be a good way to trade in. I may need to call TMO and confirm.

Anybody else still waiting for them to charge your cc? 🙃 it still says 9/24 though. I ordered 13PM- gold 128gb
 
How come you all choose to give yourself anxiety every year? Lol. They always overnight ship pre orders don’t matter if you paid extra for shipping or not. Even if you see movement with your tracking they will hold your phone at a nearby hub until Friday. At least wait until Thursday evening to worry about your card not getting charged. It take time to process and run orders through the system and to get them ready for shipping.

Right? It's the same thing every year. People freak out, get nervous, obsessively check and then on Friday they get their phone and we don't see them again til next fall.

Lol it’s crazy!! I’ve upgraded every year since the iPhone 6 Plus. And I been with Verizon, T-Mobile, at&t and back to T-Mobile and it’s all the same process.

I just found something interesting from someone who ordered from Verizon. Apparently Verizon shipped out someone's iPhone today, however they gave FedEx instructions to hold the package until set delivery date (Friday). Check out the screen shot.

So in other words even if it gets to that person's local Fedex distribution center by Thursday, then do not deliver it and hold it until Friday. That's really lame that Apple would require retailers to hold packages when the embargo has been lifted. Can someone explain (if any one knows) why Apple refuses to deliver the device when after the embargo has been lifted?

Anyways this definitely is evidence like some have said that regular shipping likely won't send out until tomorrow at the earliest, and 1 day shipping likely won't send out until Thursday at the earliest. If that's the case I will definitely be asking T-Mobile to refund my $25 for 1 day shipping. They should not even allow that option on their order page if it makes no actual difference.
