I just found something interesting from someone who ordered from Verizon. Apparently Verizon shipped out someone's iPhone today, however they gave FedEx instructions to hold the package until set delivery date (Friday). Check out the screen shot.

So in other words even if it gets to that person's local Fedex distribution center by Thursday, then do not deliver it and hold it until Friday. That's really lame that Apple would require retailers to hold packages when the embargo has been lifted. Can someone explain (if any one knows) why Apple refuses to deliver the device when after the embargo has been lifted?

Anyways this definitely is evidence like some have said that regular shipping likely won't send out until tomorrow at the earliest, and 1 day shipping likely won't send out until Thursday at the earliest. If that's the case I will definitely be asking T-Mobile to refund my $25 for 1 day shipping. They should not even allow that option on their order page if it makes no actual difference.
I believe this has happened somewhat regularly in the past as well.

Yeah, that’s why we were so adamant yesterday letting you know that getting an iPhone early was rare ;)

Apple doesn’t let the shipping carriers deliver before launch.

Okay.. but why? It makes no legal or business sense if the embargo is lifted.

Lol

Just like with Manny Ramirez, It's Apple Being Apple.

Sounds about right lol.

Apple has got to be the most stubborn company ever. They refuse to do so many things that just.... make sense. Like adding battery percent with smaller notch, or changing to USB-C when their entire line up is now using that, or changing to finger print when many of their other devices use it and masks screw up face ID.

Although they have been better past 2 years with adding the features people have been asking for, like 120hz, bigger batteries, faster charging, dark mode, widgets, ect.

Since they started coming around, thats why I cam over to give them another chance since Samsung auto dimming display has really been annoying the hell out of me. Hopefully in another a year or so we have these other things that just make sense.

Lol

Cause it’s Apple? lol

They orchestrate the whole iPhone announcement and launch every year and it runs like clockwork. They say when unboxings and reviews get posted and when the phones get into the customers hands.

With the number of phones they sell at launch it’s pretty impressive how they manage all the logistics. But they do it every year and have it down to a science.

Is T-mobile shipping phones with different delivery availability on the same order together or separate?

So I had a pending charge on my credit card and now it disappeared. I ordered my phone at 8 am last Friday

512gb Blue Max originally dated for 9/28 to 10/5 shipped today for launch day delivery. Woo hoo!!!

Awesome! Congrats! That's the 2nd person with that date range to get a shipment confirmation.

What date and time is your order email? The time of that email is the time you ordered.

When was it charged? Friday?

If so, then that's normal. If the vendor that charged the card does not settle that payment, then the authorization automatically falls off after a few business days.

Yes on Friday. Ok that makes me feel better.

Man, I am jealous of those getting charged, I ordered a 256 GB Pro Max Sierra Blue at 7:19 AM last Friday and haven't gotten charged or anything. I go out of town Saturday so was hoping to have it in hand Friday.

I got charged earlier today. Also, I didn’t preorder until about an hour after it was live. Still showing 09/24 thru 10/04/2021 eta. I have faith TMO will pull through for Friday!

This is just one phone weight, correct? Ordered 3, with 3 separate orders. Assuming I'll have 3 tracking numbers. Was charged over the weekend for all 3.
