I think it will be offered for sure on Jump On Demand but...it's going to cost!

If the 256GB iPhone 8 Plus needs a down payment of $279 based off a retail price of $949 and both iPhone X models cost more then...

64GB iPhone X will be around $330 or more down payment

256GB iPhone X will be around $430 or more down payment

I wonder if I'm better off just buying the 256GB iPhone X in full at $1,149 and then sell it for no less than $600 next year, seem like that would be cheaper than these options if I have to do a big down payment and still pay $20 - $30 dollars a month anyway...

That's exactly what I am thinking. The big question is what you can get for the X a year later. I have the iPhone 7 Plus and I am not impressed with some of the offers I am getting from the various sites.

I totally believe you will be able to sell an iPhone X for at least half the price next year since it's the flagship model. Especially if you buy the factory unlocked version of the iPhone X then you will have far more people that are willing to buy it since it will work with any carrier.

Plus $650 for a 256GB iPhone X would be an amazing price after only 1 year, iPhones don't drop that fast in price especially the top memory versions!

Is that confirmed by T-Mobile somewhere, the 256GB iPhone 8 Plus has the same down payment amount but it cost less than the iPhone X...

Also that down payment wouldn't be that bad if your monthly payment stays at $24 because it would end up costing you $288 over 12 months plus the down payment off $279 to equal $567 before you trade the iPhone X in for a new one next year.

You would end up only paying a little more than half the price of the 64GB iPhone X full retail price of $999 but I still haven't seen any confirmed prices for the iPhone X at all on T-Mobile

Yall gonna preorder or go to store?

Pre-order if you want the Plus model and with out a doubt pre-order for the iPhone X models!

Last year Apple barely had any Plus models in stock of any color and Apple is having problems with being able to make more than 10,000 a day of iPhone X model I heard so a pre-order will atleast get you a spot in line for delivery.

Going to the store for a Plus model or any iPhone X model will be a long wait in line just for an Apple employee to tell you they don't have any stock and it would have been better to order online.

i just got off the phone myself with a rep from t-mobile the iPhone upgrade program is jump but only for iPhones instead of switching to android phones but the difference is you don't have to pay the $15 bucks a month like you would with jump... he just told me he would recommend keeping the insurance which could be $12 bucks because it has AppleCare but truthfully paying the same down payment I've been paying and saving the $15 bucks is well worth it thats my opinion so next month i'm canceling jump for the iPhone upgrade program.

also btw he mentioned for people who decide to order tonight for the 8 or 8 plus they charge a $20 dollar fee for calling in i'm not sure if that fee applies to in store pre orders? its quite stupid how everything is a charge.

I thought the Jump plan included insurance? To me it seems like you would only be saving $3 per month since the insurance would still cost $12 per month. You're saying you would save $15 per month so I assume you would be waiving your phone insurance and the AppleCare? I don't really care about the AppleCare because I've never purchased it in the past but if I lose my phone, it gets stolen, I get mugged, I get in a car accident and the phone is destroyed, etc then insurance come in handy especially at these prices!

I have Jump On Demand and it includes insurance for a total of $12 per month. The insurance part is billed as Premium Device Protection featuring AppleCare Services but I don't pay a separate monthly fee just for the Jump On Demand option.

The iPhone Upgrade Program wouldn't save me any money at all plus it would lock me into only buying an iPhone in the future.

The T-Mobile iPhone Program would only be good if it has a lower down payment/monthly price compared to the Jump On Demand down payment/monthly prices...

I was told this as well. If you order online via website or app, there is no fee. If you call in, there is an upgrade fee of $20. @work customers HAVE to call in and there are no fees for them.

You know what...I did have to add that feature with Jump On Demand but $12 per month for insurance and AppleCare was too good to pass up

They will give you a credit if you call them the next day and ask to speak to a manager, I did this last year. If you have Jump On Demand you can't order phones online and no store will do a Jump On Demand upgrade (in Las Vegas anyway) so I don't have any option but to call over the phone. The manager agreed with me and put a credit on my account so my bill didn't change at all.

I heard T-Mobile reps don't get paid anything when they do a Jump On Demand upgrade in store and that's why they don't do it plus I heard corporate tells them not to do Jump On Demand upgrades in the retail corporate stores.

Plus the insurance covers your butt so you don't have to come out of pocket more than $200 if your iPhone X is stolen, lost, etc and that's more important to me than AppleCare but having the AppleCare is really nice for the little stuff.

Normally on trade in deals, memory doesn't matter. You get hosed.

Selling via swappa or something similar, you'd get more for that memory premium.

That's what I'm talking about, I only use Swappa to sell my phones because carrier trade in deals only work if your phone is already paid off and a few years old.

You have to use sites like Swappa if you want top dollar for a 1 year old phone unless you know someone personally that's willing to buy it.
