Does anyone know if stores will have stock on launch day? Thinking of camping out for a plus and jumping into it if they have stock, otherwise I'll wait for the x (don't want to risk a backorder on the 8)

for the 8/8+? yes. I bought the last 2 iPhones at the store, day of release, with no issue. Much easier than dealing with the ****** online order system and phone.

Really?! For the past 2 years I dealt with the BS tracking numbers and shipping and preordering. I had no idea you could just go down there, I thought all the stores were empty for a while

Looks like the iPhone 8 and iPhone X will not be compatible with T-mobile's new LTE network that they are building:

Folks really gotta stop pushing this narrative. Your 8/8+/X will work JUST FINE with TMO. You just won't have access to Band 71, which does NOT mean you'll have no LTE access. And this will affect a super small percentage of users, since it is barely deployed right now.

I'm not getting any replies in the question about color choices I posted in another thread. Anyone knows if the back of the space gray is glossy black similar to jet black or matte black?

I'm going to wait until next week and read a few reviews. If there's stock in the store I'll trade in my 6+ that's paid off and get a 256GB 8+. $230 down and then its $17.50 a month for the next 24 months. If another iPhone comes out that I can't live without I'll give the 8+ to my wife and get it. Nobody else is going to give me $300 for a 6+ and since I don't generally upgrade but every 2-3 years it will work great for my scenario

**please let this preorder go smoothly** lol :D:p:apple:

Anyone have the number we should call tonight? Excited for another nightmare year of pre-ordering with T-Mobile :)
I'm excited but at the same time I'm spooked that it's going to be a drag just like last years preorder haha

I scheduled for T-Mobile to call me at 12 to make it smooth it worked last year :)

I just tried, it only let's me do it for midnight. But because I'm East Coast, I need 3am. I have their customer service number so I'll just do that. Hope this is smooth this year!

Oh I'm in AZ maybe that's why if you schedule on the website you have more choices for times then the app itself

Looks like Apple is offering sim-free model tomorrow as well. Now I'm hesitating on whether just get the sim-free model and be done with it, or get it thru T-Mobile and utilize their trade in promotion and ability to upgrade down the road. If I chose the later route, the phone will be locked to T-Mobile until I pay it off and even after they unlock it, it'll still only compatible to gsm network. Umm decision decision.

It seems like this preorder has a lot less enthusiasm and chatter compared to the last two iPhone releases. Hoping for a smooth experience tonight *fingers crossed*

Perhaps too many people already scheduled for that time slot. I used the app at like 10am this morning and scheduled for 2am CT
