Does anyone know any information about pricing for the iPhone X on JOD?
Does anyone know any information about pricing for the iPhone X on JOD?
The only way it could be different on JOD vs EIP is if the payoff at end of lease is larger, I guess. It would be nice to know the pricing a bit in advance to budget, etc.Lady told me over the phone they won’t be releasing any pricing info until the day before pre-order. Which sucks because I to would like to know. What am I looking down payment wise, taxes and activation? I mean I need to know how much so I can put enough money aside to get one. Not to mention trading in my iPhone.
What I keep seeing is this pic which I think has been posted on this forum and I think a few others. If you do the math, seems accurate. Even though it’s EIP, it’s about $30 a month with $429 down. Like I said before I hope to be able to go back to AT&T. Never had to have a down payment on any iPhone through AT&T. That’s the downfall of coming to T-Mobile. I’ll give it some more time though before thinking about going back. T-Mobile isn’t all that bad. I just hate the down payments when I have excellent phone credit!

I had received a call from executive relations at TMO in regards to this and was informed that while the pricing was not finalized for JOD, they were working on JOD pricing for the X 64GB model to be $0 down and around $42/month..
JOD cap cost is typically around 75% of the full retail on any phone. Base model is at $0/down and payments are around 75% of full retail divided by 18. (I believe the $0 down on base models is going to change next year). Upgraded memory models are around 75% of full retail, minus the down payment, and resulting amount divided by 18.
Thats all I got was for the 64GB version. No mention from exec relations about what the down payment would be for JOD on the 256GB model -- but if you estimate it to be say $249.99 down, you'd be looking at around $34/month on top of that for 18 months.
I was told today it wasn't JOD eligible.Does anyone know any information about pricing for the iPhone X on JOD?
I’m not sure anyone actually knows, yet.Just got back from tmobile to see our options. Was told that the X isn't JOD eligible, meaning you need to buy on JUMP and pay the $15/mo device insurance on it. Lol ridiculous. That's most definitely not happening.

I was told today it wasn't JOD eligible.
Maybe not. They claimed it was an employee memo and that it was due to the high msrp. I honestly don’t know. I’ve never had great luck with tmobile reps.I’m not sure anyone actually knows, yet.
Thank you for speaking with me today. Per our previous conversation, I have advised you that we are currently working on a pricing for our Jump on Demand! customers. I wouldn't see it that much of a price difference than the note 8 which is around $40 plus tax. You can expect a little more due to the price difference
If you need anything, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.

Also called today and the lady told me that she had no information. I brought up the graphic that you have in your post, which has been floating around for awhile but she hit me with the runaround “down payment varies from account to account.”
I also read on here that the down payment is high so that tmobile can keep bills from going up to stupid amounts for a new phone.
I’m sure we’ll have more information next week. I’m not expecting a good JoD preorder experience with T-Mobile this year, last year was a hot mess and I’m sure the process hasn’t improved. . especially if we’re 2 weeks out with no information.. On a device that was revealed a month ago.
Why having cdma and gsm Verizon is so important for you that make you so bad wanting it? Are you going to leave T-Mobile to Verizon or Sprint in the future or near future? If you leave TMobile for AT&T, you still can use TMobile phone as they have same modem type.I want to preorder a Verizon model iPhone X so bad. But unfortunately I have to actually own an Verizon account to do so. For those who are in the same boat do u think we got cheated cuz we would settle with a gsm only phone while VZ customer gets cdma and gsm compatible phones for the same price.
Are the Verizon data plan month by month if I sign up now bring over my own phone?
Exactly what I told tmobile on Twitter that people like to budget before October not at the end of the month. The only way it could be different on JOD vs EIP is if the payoff at end of lease is larger, I guess. It would be nice to know the pricing a bit in advance to budget, etc.

To answer you question, yes, if you bring your own device, Verizon had data plan by month.
Your numbers are way too high. Based on the EIP model we’d pay 30/mo and 279 down for the 64gb model. Plus the taxes on the loan amount of 728 which for IL is about 75. Activation shipping and sim is typically waved. (Least for me) so I expect 279 + 75 so $354.When I called all they told me was they can base my down payment off the price of the highest priced phone they have at the moment. And that's the Note 8. And I'd be looking at about $229 down. I to have been told down payment varies from account to account. Based off of the 'credit rating' they give you depends on how much money you would need down, if anything at all. The lady told me I'm a type "C" on T-Mobile's standards which means I should have zero down on damn near everything. Obviously that isn't the case, so I'm not sure what the truth is.
They also told me over the phone it would be about 1-2 weeks before they have any information on the iPhone X, trade in's and what not.
As for the down payment pricing, yes, I was also told they keep the down payments high because not only are the phones getting more expensive, but they want to keep your EIP at $30 or less. I told them to put in a recommendation. Which is let the customers choose. Either a bigger down payment and a lower EIP, or a lower down payment, and a higher EIP. I feel it should be up to the customer, but, I guess maybe some people jump ship after getting the phone or whatever. So I'm not sure what the deal is with T-Mobile. Makes me wonder if Verizon and or Sprint does the same thing. As I stated previously AT&T NEVER charged me a down payment. I just had a high monthly payment. In which I was OK with! That being said, she said she'd turn in the recommendation. But, I'm just one person, so, I doubt T-Mobile will listen to me.
I really do hope we get pricing info soon, because I'd like to see what I'm really looking at down, taxes and activation, and a SIM, and shipping, I mean, the OVERALL total so I know how much to put aside. I got $500 put aside right now, but doesn't seem it's enough based off of the graph. Seems taxes, activation, shipping, and SIM, I'd probably be looking at close to $550-$600 which is insane! But this is my first year with T-Mobile, and I'd be willing to give it a shot. A birthday gift to myself if you will since I'll be 37 on Nov 7th. Anyway, I guess we will see! If anyone in here has any information I'm sure it will be shared soon enough. We need some T-Mobile insiders so we can get the inside scoop on this phone!

You can only do JOD through 611, the T-Mobile app, or T-force on Twitter and FacebookNever pre ordered before. Is it best to select store pick up or shipping while ordering online. I just hate that there are no options for JOD on apples website. I will most

It’s just surprising how long, in a relative sense, it is taking to release JOD pricing. We’re still waiting on official JOD pricing for the X... when we get it, we’ll start advertising it (you’ll probably see it everywhere there are TMO-focused threads). As far as EIP, you can pretty much guesstimate that yourself: whatever it takes to get the monthly down to $30/mo, that’s what the down payment will be for well-qualified buyers (A, B, and now C credit); $930 Note 8 down payment comes to $330.50 out here in AL, after taxes and SIM, for comparison.
