Is anyone here planning to pre-order a full price unlocked iPhone X, "returning" it at a store and "re-buying" it under the IUP? This was a pretty successful workaround last year with T-Mobile requiring customers to go to an Apple store to enroll in the program.
I know right, if it's too much people can get sleepT-mobile Twitter help today saying it may be Friday before JOD pricing released. They really don't know what they are doing here. If there is going to be a downpayment on JOD, fine, just let us know. What is the hold up?
I just chatted with them and they said the same thing, also that they don't even know if it will be offered on JOD.
did you order it through the app?I ordered an 8 Plus the other day (finally decided against the X). It was supposed to be delivered Oct. 24th, but now I see that UPS has delayed my shipment until Nov. 3rd. Hmm, I wonder if they think it's an iPhone X..lol.
Yeah they told me the same thing, they said that they aren't sure if it would be available.WHAT?!?!? If that is the case, I'm done with TMobile. I've been told by several customer service reps that it WILL be offered on JOD. And with the horrible iPhone 7 launch problems for the JOD program, you'd think they would be doing everything they can to make this one a positive experience for customers.
So what are your plans?I can’t believe that people are really willing to pay this phone outright. That’s what the want. Don’t pay outright and next release they will put it on JOD. iPhone 8 has already don’t horrible in sales and they got that message so they won’t do what they did now, again in the future. That phone is not close to being worth that much outright. And this is coming from an Apple junkie
Honestly me being the type to always get my phone on release day. I’m still going to pre order it but if they say that it won’t be available for JOD, I’m not even going to bother with getting it then until a month later when it will be. That’s nonsense to be paying that much for (let’s be real) a phone like that, especially if you have the 8 already (which I do). I never put a down payment and you’ll go ahead and pay that much and still not guaranteed a phone until months out. But that’s just my opinion. So what are your plans?
How come with JOD I would always still have to put down a down payment? (I have great credit)Honestly me being the type to always get my phone on release day. I pay more a month and have less of a down paymentNo surprises here, let the rat race begin.
No it was a JOD upgrade through a sales rep at the store.did you order it through the app?
JOD can only be done over the phone, at a t mobile store, or over twitter with T Force.Quick question. I have JOD and was wondering. Are we actually able to pre order on the website or do we have to do it over the phone with sales. That would suck
