Just wanted to chime in here..

I just got off the phone with a tmo rep who was extremely helpful. In regards of the JOD pricing released recently, He confirmed that if one qualifies for $0 down on the base model (64gb) iPhone 8 Plus, you will in turn qualify for the $0 down on the base model (64gb) iPhone X. Now “qualifying” may have a few a bit nervous, but I’ll say I have less than stellar credit and have always been required to pay a down payment. However, I recently surpassed 3yrs with tmo so I’ll take this as a warm thank you from Legere himself.

This may not be new news to some, but for those who are a bit confused with qualifications and what will be asked to pay upfront come 12:01, I hope this clarifies things and calms a few nerves.

I personally have never used JOD, always EIP. But I do look forward to utilizing JOD’s $0 down on the iPhone X this time around. Cheers!

I also asked the same thing, but didn’t get the price breakdown. Which is a better deal to you the JOD or the IUP? I was going to do the iPhone upgrade plan because every year I can exchange it and the JOD it’s 18 months.

[QUOTE="effort, post: 25278718, member: 1046375" I'll be picking the silver color so my chances at getting the device are higher than all the individuals that are yearning for space grey, I'll have a case on mine anyways so the color is whatever.

.[/QUOTE]
Actually, the trend changes. Silver is the most wanted color per MacRumors.

I’m ordering mine through JUMP! Instead of JOD. I usually pay my device off and sell it on Swappa for $650 on up once he next iPhone is announced. I use my 6+ once my main device is sold and until my new device is delivered or picked up. This go around I’m keeping my 7+ because Apple didn’t continue the Rose Gold color and I’m attached to that color.

How do you sign up for Jump on demand? When you order on do you have to do that before you order? I’m thinking before because my guess is there’s some credit check involved.

If you buy full price from T-Mobile you won’t have to enter account details.

I'm counting on this being the surest path to getting a release date delivery. I'll be paying full price and selling my 7+ which is paid off to cover some of the cost.

Rep I spoke with earlier said my 7 Plus must be paid off in order to upgrade to the iPhone X. I’m on JOD. Is this true?
Ahh no! The JOD means you’re leasing the device so that u can upgrade to the newest phone but you can choose to buy it outright and pay the purchase option price along with whatever u still owe on t

I like the JOD it always seems like a hassle but works out in the end! I think u can upgrade every 30 days or something like that

Just got off the phone with a rep from the office of the president at T-Mobile and he said: "Don't quote me on this, but even if you get in right away at midnight with your order, I'd be surprised if you get your phone before Christmas. The supply is going to be that limited." They have a iPhone X team meeting in 2 hours to go over details of the launch and info may change, but he didn't think they would be getting allotted a very large amount of the available stock of phones until early next year. Not great news...

I asked if he thought T-Mobile stores would get any stock on Nov. 3rd and he said he thought they are required to get at least one of each model/size and that's literally all they may get. A new T-Mobile store opened in a small strip mall about a half mile from my house - I may camp out in the parking lot if it goes as badly as I think it might tonight ;)

I am deeply sad, this year I feel like it's going to be tough to receive this phone. However, i'll still be up at 2am my time to get this bad boy ready. I am going to do JOD with tmobile over the phone and buy one retail price on the apple store. Wish you guys all luck tonight. Reports have shown that there would only be 2-3 million iphones avaliable so even if we do preorder today, there would be a GREAT chance that we still won't see our phones in till a couple months or so.

I am going to attempt at paying full price for the T-Mobile version and I don't believe that I even stand a chance! Mind you I want the silver 256gb version. If I have any complications and my iPhone X would come after Nov 3rd, 2017 for any reason I cancel my order. Doesn't make any difference to Apple.

I just got off the phone with a tmobile rep from my city, which was kinda awesome. Anyways, since I am planning on just doing JOD on my phone due to just keeping my phone bill amount the same, he told me I would be putting down $429.99 and that is with tax included, which doesn't make sense given another rep told me it would be estimated $524 something after tax. These past 3 years of preordering the iphone I have been given the opportunity to get a call from one of the rep at 2 am my time to do the preorder but I have talked to many reps this time and tmobile has told them all they could not call customers this year, which is a total blow. So i guess there is not much more then I could do but keep calling the reps tonight and hopefully get through with someone.

You might have a good chance, because there was a poll and people voted that everyone wants the space gray 256 gb

Sounds about right. That's why I'm going to do my JOD over the phone and order 2 with the Apple Store App at the same time. If it turns out that my JOD upgrade is delayed by 2 months, I'll just payoff my 7+ and sell it for a bit of profit.

So who is going to use the apple store app vs the tmobile site.... Im still not totally trustworthy of the tmobile site. I was thinking of paying in full for a tmobile phone from apple and just having them port my number to the sim it comes with
