In the ALERTS box, it should say something like "Order in progress: your device order # XXXXXXXXX for line (XXX) XXX-XXXX is being processed. You can click on it.

It took a little while to show up after my order...

yeah I get what youre saying, just dont have that. weird. hope it doesnt mean the order got lost somehow. I mean I have the signed EIP agreement downloaded with all the details.

Anyone get slapped with a down payment for jump on demand? We never have had one and weren’t offered the $0 down option.

Yea — me. As it was explained to me, the $0 down/$41.56 mo for the iPhone X only applied if you were a customer for at least 3 years. I switched to T-MOBILE in Aug 2015. So, mine ended up being $279 down/$26 mo. The thing that sucks about that is if I jump to another device sooner than 18 months, that portion of the down payment is lost.

Same rules apply for phone leases as car leases — never put anything down. If anything occurs prior to the full term of the lease, you lose whatever you put down.

Yup. That down payment really sucks. If you upgrade in a year you paid more than half of what the phone costs. That’s why Apples IPhone Upgrade program is way better than T-Mobile’s. You pay a higher monthly but in 1 year you would have truly paid off half the cost of the Phone.

Pre orders this morning online . Screen froze at the final accept screen . Got the confirmation email . But never got the EIP. Called 611 rep said my order went through and that EIP should be there within 24 hours . I didn’t buy that had him cancel my order and place it again while on the phone . Got EIP this time before I even hung up with him . Still got estimated date of the 3rd.. but feel safe now

Well, not exactly. Let’s say new iPhones come out next September. On JOD with no down and $41.56/mo, you’ve paid $457.16 when you traded. On JOD with the $279 down, you’ve paid $565. With the Apple program, you’ve paid $549 — but you also got AppleCare.

JOD with no down payment is a pretty good deal if your goal is to trade every cycle and have no desire to pay for insurance. Maybe I’ll hold on to the phone longer than the next upgrade this time.

Damn 4hrs later and I had to use one of my other lines. Still having trouble with the original line I wanted to use but at least t-force Twitter actually tried and is still trying. Don’t ask me why I didn’t think of the other line earlier. I blame being pissed lol

At least the past couple of pre-orders taught us all that if something doesn’t show you know it never went through.

I placed my order around 3:15AM with a rep. JOD $0 down for the 64g. Typically they require to have a card on file for the order. The rep advised that was not the case, I’ve received the eip agreement. Just a bit worried that the order may not go through because there’s no credit card on file. ( happened couple years ago).

I wouldn’t trust the shipping date guys. Every year it’s the same thing. Everyone’s probably going to be put on back order by tomorrow. That’s how tmobile does it every year.
Negative. I’ve always gotten my phones on launch day w/no slipped ship dates (no matter how screwy the pre-order process AND IT HAS BEEN SUPER SCREWY!!! LOL).

Has anyone received their email yet
to sign the agreement?
Yes. Took about 30 minutes to get to me though.

Interesting. Has anyone actually gotten $0 down on the 64GB? I sent an email to John Legere ripping them about this — the fact that there was zero official communication on JOD pricing until pre order launch. And the fact that his rep (from executive relations) emailed me and said it would be 0 down and around $41/mo

His comment about credit score is because my FICO 8 is 817/816/808 as of today and I have a spotless payment history.

Funny you mention that. I reached out to a senior account exec that helped me with an available credit issues and cc’d Arturo Lucero and he replied saying “As you know, the new iPhone X is retailing at a much higher cost, and as a result there is a down payment requirement to bring the cost down to the amount that is allowed on an equipment installment plan”

You have to be with T-Mobile for 3 years o get $0 down on JOD with devices over $900 now. It's a new policy.
https://www.tmonews.com/2017/10/t-mobile-jump-on-demand-down-payment-900-phones/

I was quite angry when I called this morning and they told me $279 plus tax down. We've never paid tax on JOD before. I've been there 2 years, 2 months I was told. So next year I would qualify for $0 down on whatever the next iPhone X is called.

Still doesn’t make any sense why I wasn’t offered this! I would have had the phone on launch day because I got an agent at 3am to just argue with them for 40 minutes.

Silver 64gb still stating 11/2 delivery. I just don’t believe it as Apple direct is stating 4-5 weeks.

I completed my order for silver 64 a little before 7 and after the order completed my confirmation e-mail still stated 11/2-11/3 for estimated *shipping* date. The fastest shipping option was 1 to 2 business days so it could arrive anywhere between Friday the 3rd and the following Tuesday.

Can you post a screen shot of your order? I haven't seen any $0 JOD as of yet...Do you have a current lease or are you starting JOD for the first time??

My rep told me the same thing. I qualified for $0 down and he told no card was required.

I got $0 down as well. It was JOD. And not the first time, I am doing JOD from an iPhone 8 Plus.

Yep, mine was zero down and $41 a month.
