This should tell you right away that the T-mobile dates are not going to be met.
Sorry to burst everyones bubble but prepare, they will slip there just aren't enough. Apple.com and Apple Store App was a hosed mess, the demand must've been through the roof.
If you pre-ordered from a carrier, hours after it went live, and you believe that launch day date I am sorry for your hopes come next Friday.

I'm not so sure. Last year, the 7 dates slipped pretty fast at T-Mobile, this year they are holding on. They are starting to slip, but that also could mean that a lot of people 1. dont wanna spend the money on the down payment; 2. cant justify spending over 1000; 3. went with Apple this year.

So I pre ordered through the T-Mobile app, is it true you sign for the phone when purchasing because I have not yet received Esignature email yet. If anyone has any insight about this let me know. From what I was told only customers who called in get the electronic signature through email is that true ?

I’ve have launch date estimates every year since the since and have only successfully received a phone on launch once and it was the 6s. And I’ve always ordered at 3am or sooner if they allowed me

Same, always was quoted launch day only to get the real truth 2-3 weeks later when no phone is here, and calls to executive response team when it existed the last 2 years.

Hey, so I bought an iPhone X full price on the Apple store last night. Do they charge your credit card/debit right away?

I completely understand where your coming from.

I just checked the big 4:

Verizon is first week of Dec
AT&T is second week of Dec
Sprint is 11/3
T-Mobile is 2 weeks from now

So it very well could be possible, becuase they are all over the place in terms of shipping dates.

no...they usually wait until the phones ships out...if you received a ship date on November 3rd...strong possibility you will be charged Sunday-Monday

Usually most reps will have you do it once your on the phone with them since the order isn't fully processed until you sign it. You should of received it via email by now. I would call back in and get it resent or check your junk email.

Upgraded through JOD, doubt I’ll get it launch day like they’re claiming. If not, no rush, enjoying my iPhone 8. When it gets here, it gets here.

I plan on returning the X, as I feel the 8 is a superior phone. With zero down, it’s worth experimenting with the X. I’m a tech geek at heart.

Was just told by a rep on chat that the dates are incorrect, shipping in December but will be expedited. Not sure what he is talking about...just an FYI

You guys must be ordering the limited variants, like black, matte black or Space grey previous years. I ordered the Silver 64 GB this year which showed delivery the 2nd to the 3rd about two hours ago on Tmobile shipping estimates site. It now says 3rd to the 10th which is still fine because according to most blogs and YouTube channels I watch it would be a mad house come 12 am Pacific times with phones not being available for months.

KGI Securities is reporting that Apple only had 3 million iPhone X for preorders because T-Mobile bought 9 million directly from Foxcon. ;)

The website kept stalling on me, so I got my order in over the phone with a rep who was very speedy. We were all done at 2:07am CST. He sent me the EIP while we were on the phone, I signed it while still on the phone and he said I would have my 256GB Silver on 11/2 or 11/3 with free overnight shipping.

Only thing I was miffed by was the $20 upgrade fee that I feel they should’ve waved since their website could not handle the stress but oh well, in the grand scheme of a $1200 phone, $20 isn’t going to kill me.

I got all of my email confirmations within seconds and they all state the delivery date as 11/2-11/3. I never got a text but I also don’t know if I’m signed up for the account alerts tbh. Everything shows under my alerts on My T-MO and shows the 11/2-11/3 delivery date. I’m hopeful I’ll get my phone on launch date, but due to my work schedule, still probably won’t get to set it up until 11/5.

For what it’s worth, the second I got done with my phone order I checked the Apple app and it said Ship was 1 week. Checked again 3 minutes later and it had already slipped to 2-3 weeks.

In the past, they have charged as late as the day prior to estimated delivery, since its "free" overnight shipping that means next Thursday.

Order Placed:
  • T-Mobile Phone Support @ 1:59am CST (11:59pm PST)
  • 11/3 delivery
  • Silver 64GB T-Mobile/GSM Variant
Placed this order as I was waiting for the iOS Apple Store to open up. Might as well keep it and give my S.O. an early XMAS gift.

edit: I received the ESIG e-mail seconds after placing the order. Last year for the 7, I waited 24 hours for that darn e-mail.

John Legere(T-Mobile CEO) just confirmed on twitter that ETA shipping dates for new devices is accurate... https://explore.t-mobile.com/shipping-dates
We might be getting them next friday after all! Shipping dates slipped about a week only on T Mobile, I'm assuming due to the last minute down payments a lot of people had.

Wierd when John the Ceo of the company is saying they are accurate on twitter. I think what could have happen is alot of Jump On Demand customers were caught of guard with the down payment. I know if they told me I had to pay $279 I would have hung up the phone pissed off.

Happened to me. I got a representative on chat to look into it. Turns out the person who processed my order got my email wrong and chat representative had to resend the Esig email and was finally able to get that squared away. Order still records as having been processed at 12:07 PST, delivery estimate November 2-3

I agree that if one called in and started placing their order 10 minutes after 12:01am, they would face issues. I placed my order exactly at 2:00am and was able to lock in the 11/03 delivery date. Glad to see that they are providing accurate info at least

On my email
My order says it was placed 10:20 pm PST on The 26th.
So I don’t know how valid order times are on the EIP email
