I did a JOD on my iPhone 7 to get the iPhone X. I got the confirmation email at 2:09am. My shipping date is the release date, so hopefully I’ll get mine that day, but somehow I doubt it. I put down $429.99 + tax for 24/month. Everything I read about the tmobile pricing was correct.

Huh their shipping estimates are STILL 11/3-11/10? How can Tmobile be doing better than Apple lol? Something aint adding up.

John Legere(T-Mobile CEO) just confirmed on twitter that ETA shipping dates for new devices is accurate... https://explore.t-mobile.com/shipping-dates
We might be getting them next friday after all! Shipping dates slipped about a week only on T Mobile, I'm assuming due to the last minute down payments a lot of people had.

I went here:https://twitter.com/JohnLegere?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author

Did not see any tweet discussing ship dates. Is this the account you are referring to? Wonder if that post was deleted.

Anyone with an account younger than 3 years old now HAS to pay down payment on this phone. Kinda BS, but at the end of the day, I am not going to trade it in anyway. We have done JoD on four phones and they all made more sense to keep or just pay off and trade towards another device during a promo.

You can order 3 times as fast with apple by saving the phone to your favorites and clicking buy with apple pay one click as soon as preorder opened. Tmobile you have to call in wait let rep do the work sign the email ect. So I can see Apple getting backed up faster. Tmobile has to have a certain ammount of phone already allocated for preorders. Then on top of that people are getting hit with big downpayments compared to normal.

I placed my order early, like a few others here. In about 2 minutes through T-Mobile's website. My shipping date is Nov 2nd-3rd. So, release day! This was flawless as far as TMobile's website goes. And this is my first year to be with T-Mobile! AT&T Next for me was also Flawless and I have gotten the phone on release day in the past 5 years or so. Anyway, what's weird though is, I got a text from T-Mobile stating that supplies are constrained and they don't know when my phone will ship. However, my T-Mobile account STILL shows it shipping on the day of release. So I don't know what else to believe. Did anyone else get a message like this? Should I be concerned? Also forgot to mention I was told my two reps that I would have the E-Signature agreement sent to me, but then another one told me that I WOULDN'T have to sign one because I ordered it MYSELF online. So I'm confused on that part as well. I called just now and they are saying everything looks good. However, one rep told me if it wasn't signed in 48 hours my order would be cancelled. That being said, none of the T-Mobile reps are on the same page, and I just want to make sure my order actually goes through.

True! The T-Mobile website and app were a total fail this year. Tried placing my order for 30min until I decided to call 611. Finally placed my order via phone for 256GB Space Gray @ 12:45am~ e-signature conformation @12:53am. Shipping date 11/2 - 11/3

Confused as to why people are pissed off about having down payments.. even if you don’t pay one immediately, the cost of your bill is still going up so you’ll be paying it eventually. Might as well get it over with and at least keep your monthly charges the same.

I’ve yet to receive a text like that and I placed my order in the first 5 minutes.

Just got off the phone about 30 min ago after previously using TMoHelp (T-FORCE) minutes prior (with the same rep) to get an order fixed I had originally done around 2:15 CST. I wanted a Silver 256GB and the overseas rep around 2am put me down for a 64GB with Nov 2-3 shipping and didn't tell me til the very end when the EIP was sent! I didn't want that. She said I'd have to wait 48 hours til I could cancel and reorder! As I was tired, I just left it at that and went to bed. An hour ago, I started messaging T-FORCE about the issue and spoke with the super-helpful Stephanie Howell who eventually called me and worked her magic to get me a 256GB Silver JOD with a Nov 3-10 shipping window! Around $430. I won't be mad if I have to wait til the 6th or whatever to get a phone! But yea... They still have iPhone X if you know who to ask!

It's a 0% interest loan, and it's always been easier paying stuff over time vs right away. If there was like some 10-20% fee for doing that, paying upfront would be the way to go!

I'll post pics and video when they arrive, as well as our store's demo when we get it in and displayed; I'm gonna try and stay away from this thread as it was absolutely toxic last year - we'll be swamped with JODs, down payment tirades, and delivery date questions as it is in-store. Any specific questions can be PM'd.

I'll leave you with this: "Estimated Shipping Window"

Please read and understand each of those three important words before you have a conniption. lol

Ok, this is scary. I just got the following text from T-Mobile:

Free T-Mobile Msg: Thanks for your order! Supply is very limited and no shipping estimate is currently available for your T-Mobile order SXXXXXXXX. Check out http://t-mo.co/tmo_check_order for updates to your shipping estimate and status while your order processes

I was told it was shipping 11/2. I hope we don't all end up waiting for weeks now.

It still shows the following in order status:

Estimated to ship 11/02/2017 - 11/03/2017

It's been toxic for 3 years...
That said it's back-ordered. Probably by a month. So if you want it sooner? It'll be a good idea to buy from Apple or Ebay who is charging a 100% premium (sometimes FAR MORE)

Cheers

You were able to place an order almost two hours early? If not when did you really?
Sorry to clarify, previously I had talked about how the first tmobile rep screwed me and said he completed the order at12:07 am PST. However, I called back 30 mins later and was told no such order had been placed. So I complained and made another order. Except this time I noticed an on my eip email it says order was placed at the previous date. However, I received another eip (email to sign) with a more accurate time after I signed this one. The rep I talked to who actually processed the order gave me the order number for the 10 pm one and I had signed it. So I don’t know what’s happening anymore

I've had that happen before. Really annoying.

Did you end up receivig the order? Or did you have problems.

I mean, the EIP is signed so they have to fulfill that contract. But this is still extremely annoying, especially if they make me do a new order.

Because everyone buys the Tmobile Variant because you dont have to have carrier authentication. Even people from other carriers. I hate it but scalpers love the Tmobile variant.
