Was finally able to order with $0 down. Shipping estimate is 11/3-11/10 which is know won’t happen but at least it’s ordered!

How did you manage to get it with $0 down? Everything I’ve seen on their site said $279, and I’ve been a longstanding customer with excellent credit.

I thought I had read before that it was $0 down on the 64gb, and then when the time for the preorder came it was up to $279.

Edit: I ordered a 64gb in space grey @ 1:24am pst and my order status still shows 11/3 delivery.

If you wanted the phone on jump on demand it doesn’t make sense to jump at any point in time if you have a down payments because you’ve paid andisproportional amount of the phone off based on the timeline that you’ve had it. Even with standard jump (which is what a ddcice installments are called) you’ve paid off more than 50% of the device at the 12 month mark).

If you’re using it as a simple financing option it’s not a problem whatsoever.

It’s also kinda screwy with trade in IMO. With $300 down payments they could have easily just given a $300 credit rather than something over twelve months.

Bottom line is this years promotions couldn’t hold a candle to the last two years. I wouldn’t say I’m pissed. Maybe slightly disappointed? The uncarrier is slowly become ancsrrier lol.

I’m pissed they made me put a down payment on my JOD order. That program is hardly worth it anymore. I don’t know why they did it either because we are well qualified and have been doing JOD since it literally began.

I got 0 down as well. It's up to the discretion of the rep, but you could call and try to get things changed. I would be a bit worried myself about screwing up the order and delaying things. It's going to cost the same over time anyway, but I understand your frustration.

Hmm interesting. I’ll shoot them a message. I say that only because I tried an S8+ the other day and didn’t require anything down for that. I just assumed it was policy on this phone.

Rep I had on phone checked and checked and couldn’t change it. I almost said forget it, and probably should have. I’m probably going to buy this phone so I can get out of the JOD.

I’ve had a contact at the executive office and based on account history they increased the credit level which got me to $0 down. It’s based off of that, not the rep.

Yeah, I called them a moment ago and a guy from Bellingham, WA told me it has to do with exactly what you said. “We had to impose stricter guidelines for most everyone due to the price of the device for JOD.”

The good news: when I asked about the text message “no estimated ship date” that a lot of us are getting, he told me that since the order was placed early enough, to just go by the status on the app/site. So here’s hoping it arrives on the 3rd as it currently says!

Just got a text from T-Mobile saying that "Supply is very limited and no shipping estimate is currently available for your T-Mobile order".

Well that is not re-assuring, even though it says on the order that it ships between 11/3 - 11/10.

Guys, dont worries if you all got this message. It's just a standard message. I preordered the Iphone 8 and got the same message but it delivered on release date. I just preordered the iphone X just now as well.

Yeah that’s basically what they told me then looked into the account and agreed due to my history and tenure it was prudent to change the credit level. Called in to care right after and placed the order with a est. shipping date of 11/3-11/10. Fingers crossed!

Did any of you take the 300.00 trade in? I took the offer, but might sell it on Craigslist instead. The rep did tell me it wouldn’t change anything if I didn’t send it in to them. Certainly I can get more than that for an unlocked 7+

My shipping date is 11/3-11/10 I hope it comes on the 3rd lol I’m being greedy

I honestly didn’t stay up until midnight to pre-order, it just worked out that way. After an hour of their site not working I called and somehow managed to get into the first grouping of shipments. My business partner called this morning and has the same shipping range that you do.
