I imagine rounded edges will make the phone feel more comfortable in your hand. I'm surprised so many of you are complaining about that.

Is evleaks normally accurate? Because that seriously looks like a step down from the 2013 model. Gold shade is ugly and corners are too rounded. Almost looks like a Samsung phone trying to copy the One! And why is a logo necessary on both the front and back of the device?

Usually very accurate and i agree on how bad that wasted bezel is.

Round edges on the front corners not the sides.

I didn't know the current HTC One didn't feel good in the hand.

The new HTC One looks so ridiculous ugly it's a shame. Round corners, big HTC logo still on the front while they are using on-screen buttons. The speakers are not semetric this looks hideous. Not going to buy this would rather keep the current HTC One then getting this new version.

What is wrong with round corners? The Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S4 have rounded corners too. Even my Galaxy Note 2.

The more I see these the fulgier they get. They look faux metal you'd see from Samsung. I hope these are just bad renders.

I Agree, the 2013 One looked better the more you looked at it, this on the other hand has just been hit with the ugly stick.

I actually kind of like the darker one above... But different strokes for different folks.

That one is OK but the other two are fugly. Guess I'm not a fan of the brushed metal look.

And according to Evleaks they're going to refer to it as " The All New One". Ugh, just as bad as when Apple called the 3rd gen iPad the New iPad.

Again, the roundedness feels like such a step backwards. The original One had such a bold, edgy look. This just feels like going backwards in style compared to all the other phones. Note 2 was rounded > Note 3 sharper edges, same as S4. And the iPhones.

This also looks more elongated than the original, less dimensional harmony. And I won't even mention the "dead space" logo bezel area again. Ooops looks like I already did...man, no chance of me even buying this thing, and it's already rubbing my OCD the wrong way :D

Damn you HTC, I had such high hopes. (Please let these all be fake, but it's starting to seem unlikely...)

If the phone is anything like these leaks it certainly has lost its premium look and feel.

Does make me wonder what Apple will do with the gold iPhone if they go bigger and find a way for a all aluminum back like the iPod touch/iPads. This gold version from HTC looks awful.

Ridiculous bottom bezel withstanding, I guess I'm not seeing the huge differences in design or find it unappealing. Putting the two devices next to each other and I don't see huge differences. The original One has rounded corners, the same plastic sttipes on the back, same overall design on the front. If anything, I think the new version looks more premium--no more tacky Beats logo and the plastic injected around the edge looks/feels inferior to a solid piece of metal and was a common location for gaps.

I won't be getting the new version, predominantly because of the size and aforementioned super-sized chin but overall, I think the one piece metal frame is an improvement.

It's called Twin Cam and i think it will still be still 4 UltraPixel, the second cam is just for post-focusing.

Given that the biggest complaint of the HTC one was the camera, and given the Desire & M8 Mini are getting 13mp camera's rather than the 4mp ultra pixel, and given that the two cameras are clearly not the same on the back of the device when looking at them - I would find it hard to believe they would saddle the device with two 4 ultra pixel cameras.

Assuming they do add a much (MUCH) better camera - I'm already considering getting it and selling my Note 3 when it launches.

What do we think the two camera's are ?

13mp + 4 Ultrapixel ?

I just don't see the point in combining one 13Mpx with a 4 UltraPixel... So I think that's not gonna happen. It doesn't make sense.

I think they are two UltraPixel.

Agreed. That would be an incredibly foolish thing to do.

A 13mp for good day to day photos (landscapes etc. Where you have plenty of light but need resolution for clarity and detail) and a 4 ultrapixel for low light pictures.

That makes far more sense than two ultra pixel cameras to me.

I don't know much about cameras but couldn't this be a good thing?
