My first impressions are much better than I thought, I think the iPad is really an amazing device. The touch screen changes the expierience more than I would have thought. I put a review online with a video walk through of some of the included apps on my website here if anyone wants to see my full review iPad review

So I've convinced a few family members to get one. I originally preorderd one from Apple, and decided to go to Best Buy and buy one with intentions of returning the one back to Apple because I didn't think I would get it on Saturday. Instead my Grandma decided she wanted one, so she just bought it from me. Today I go over to my other Grandparents house, and my Grandpa says he wants one. So he sends me to the Apple Store to get one for him, and one for my cousin. Seems like everyone in my family has one now.

This is the kind of thing that I have been saying is going to happen. Once it gets "out into the wild" and people start seeing them at the airport or at Starbucks or a family member gets one, you are really going to see the iPad take off.

Incase Protective Cover Grip iPad Black

Ordered and installed the Incase protective Cover grib. It was easy to fit on the Ipad and feels great holding. One of the complaints that I was hearing from other protective covers was that they made it difficult to access the serial port and other buttons including the volume and on/off button. This cover seems to be cut perfectly so as to alloy easy access to all the buttons and ports. The only minor problem is that when you pick it up from the edges you have to be careful because you can pull at the grip and it can come off. But not a major problem.

Is that just a silicon case? And does it just cover the back?

I saw that so-called apple case today...but...umm...it felt very cheap to me:rolleyes:
When i can buy my ipad here i will definitely buy a leather one with the same features(i really like that it can prop up:))

I'm the only one with this?

Jaker999: It looks nice but i prefer a case that can protect my screen too:)

PS.: AJsAWiz: Thanks, i really worried that my post is hard to understand:p

Yeah. And yes it only covers the back of the device. I thought about just getting a clear shield for both the screen and the back, but wanted something that I could grip in my hands. I may still get a clear shield for the screen, though I really just wanted to cover the back for the time being.

Yes, something that covers the screen is a MUST, to me at least.. I know that CNET or someone took a nail to this screen and had a hard time scratching it, but I'm just looking at a little something to protect it incase of a drop or anything. I am a fan of the silicone though, I have it for my BB and i love it especially on laps so it cant just slide off. I have read also that the clear plastic screen covers are a waste since the glass is VERY scratch resistant (too bad glass isn't fingerprint resistant). (Side note: I do have a screen protector on my iTouch and the protector scratches really easy so I think I'm going to take it off)

This is how I had to activate and sync my ipad because OSX 10.4 don't cut it no more.
gotta step my game up. XP to the rescue tho..lol.

Totally almost bought one today, which was my fear. I said to myself "as soon as I walk into a store and touch it I'm gonna want to buy it". I had the card out and everything before coming to my senses and realizing I needed a VDSLR more than an iPad to accompany my iPhone. Besides I wanted the 3G model anyway. I will probably have one this summer because its just a lovely device. Congrats to all the folks who bought one and are enjoying it.

Went to BestBuy thinking i'll finally just take a quick look at one, then order one online sometime in the near future... NOPE.

Walked out with a 16gig. Apple has another winner on their hands.

Steve was right it is very natural.

In my hands holding the iPad is very natural for me.Scrolling is very easy and using it in general feels natural. Thanks Steve.

Just bought and unboxed.

despite my initial review of the ipad which was done around 0100 6days ago. I bought one today. I played with the demo at BB and the apple store until i think everyone knows me by name in both places. I pulled the trigger on 16gig. I can finally get on with LIFE :)

Syncing right now!

Some just take a little longer to make sure of their choice but I have not looked back from the Saturday it was delivered.

My X301s Thinkpad has not seen the light of day for my recreational Internet. You are going to love it!:p
