Ordered the top spec 13" at about 9am edt, paid the 16 bucks for overnight shipment and am only showing "prepared for shipment" as of 8pm edt. Delivery estimate still 21-22 July
 
Ordered 13" 1.8ghz this morning. Waiting to see if anyone else who did a custom order has had their shipped yet-- mine has not, as of yet.

Same here. Still waiting on confirmation email and the status to change. I hope its here tomorrow. I will be out of town Friday so I was hoping to take it with me.
 
Ordered 11" 1.6/128/4 earlier today. It's already prep'd for shipping. Expected delivery is Friday or Monday. Expedited shipping was not an option.

It will go very nicely with my 2011 iMac 27" ultimate!

hi I was wondering if I get a new MacBook air can I get the Mac lion upgrade for my iMac for free?
 
13" MBA will be my first Mac, hoping that it can replace my aging dell as my on the road photo editing machine. :)
 
13" one has made it to Scotland and it is a nice piece of kit. incredibly fast & responsive running Lion and having the SDD drive.
 
I bought a 13” 1.7Ghz/4GB/128GB Macbook Air yesterday,shipping was within 24 hrs with an estimated delivery date of 21 or 22/07.It’s been shipped (according to the Apple website) via Walsh Western and current status is ‘Out for delivery’.Who do Walsh Western use for shipping? Is there anyway to get more detailed tracking info?
 
I ordered my 13" low end at 5:50AM PDT, yesterday, with overnight delivery. It has not shipped yet. I called Apple, and they said it would ship today and arrive tomorrow. They also offered to refund my $31 shipping charge.
 
I have to say I'm a bit disappointed in the online ordering this time around. Ordered MBAIR 11.6/1.6/4/128 yesterday, in stock. No option for expedited shipping to Toronto. Took almost 20 hours to ship and won't arrive until Monday. :( I hope UPS keeps it nice and cool in this heat.
 
Just picked up a 11" i5 4g/128ssd from my local apple store in the mall. They had ultimate, bases and in between. Still on the fence with 11" vs 13". Good thing there's no restocking fee.
 
My 13" i7 arrived this morning, and I just finished loading all my files (chose to "start over with a clean slate" rather than restore from Time Machine). Very impressive in every way. I'm not sure which is more impressive: the hardware or Lion.
 
Still no progress on my order that was placed within an hour of the store being updated yesterday (13" / i7). Jokes on me-- turns out lots of stores actually have i7 machines for sale. They do say that patience is a virtue... ;)

Anyone else have their i7 ship?

Edit: Appears MTD's Mac received an i7 already. JEALOUS. :D

I had initially ordered my 11" Ultimate online, but since it hadn't been prepared for shipping this morning I called the local Apple Store to see if they had them in and they did. Just went down, got it in hand and then cancelled my order. Something to consider.
