Yea I was guessing his was on the same plane as mine. But I also guessed that mine was headed to Memphis. The flight I think it's on gets to Memphis in about an hour so we'll see
 
First Mac

Alright, I just ordered my first Mac! I've wanted one for years and I finally did it. I got a 13" Macbook Air 128gb with 8gb RAM. Tax free weekend + student discount + $100 gift card = $1239 total, an awesome deal on a brand new Air! I did pay $15 extra for rush delivery because my HP finally crapped out and I don't want to wait until the end of next week with just my iPad.
 
Ordered: 29th PM
Preparing to ship: 1st AM
Shipped: 2nd AM
Scheduled on Virgin flight to London: 4th AM

Due to arrive at Apple merging facility on 6th and I expect it by 8th although Apple estimates 9th.

Delivery is slow as it has to merge with a £70 voucher (had no choice) which seems stupid. Can't they just email it?

It's odd here in the uk as the US appear to be getting them posted separately. Givenyou've effectively paid that £70 I can't see why they can't post it once your BTO leaves china..
 
Ordered 13air/128gb/8gb today expected date 13th-15 aug. Go on holiday on 14th.. I'm crazy.. If it ships late will change delivery address to my parents. Can't wait!! Bought one in stock at the retail shop then returned next day since if I ordered online I got the 3 year warranty for free instead of £139.99.. kinda worth the wait lol

Yea that was the flight i figured ours were on yesterday. Mine still hasn't shown any other movement either.

my thunderbolt->firewire adapter wasn't suppose to get here till tuesday but is on the truck for delivery today. Maybe he'll have my mba as well(doubt it)

Ordered i7/8GB/128GBSSD 11.6" MBA. Waffling on the i7. May down grade to the i5 & upgrade the SSD to 256.

my superdrive and seagate thunderbolt adapter just said in transit when they went from hub to hub. I figured in transit meant it had left anchorage
 
Ordered the 13-inch Core i5 model with 8GB of RAM, AppleCare, and a couple TB/mini displayport/MegSafe 2 adapters in additional to the $100 Back to School gift card.

Currently I have a 11-inch 1.6Ghz C2D MBA (Late 2010), but after my trip I may just just give the 13-inch to my sister. She's using a 13-inch MBP 2.53Ghz C2D with Apple 128GB SSD from Mid-2009. :eek:

I'm still waiting for the IvyBridge Mac mini. :D
 
No tracking updates since Aug 2 in AK and then boom, just checked and 3 more cities added and my MBA is showing its in my hometown now. Bummer though, it says "Package not due for delivery". Ugh, I guess they will make me wait until Monday.

Expected delivery on mine is 13th to 14th. Do they actually take this long or is it more of a standard estimate?
 
2012 MBA 11" experience.....

There has been a lot of complaints etc.....( Justified, Mostly ).
I bought my MBA 11" from an Apple store (pre-ordered ) was in and out in about 10-15 min

Home 30 min later, un-boxed.. Fired up.......... Transferred all relevant Data from iMac.......

Sold iMac 2007 ( mid )20" for AU $550.........

Downloaded ML, day it came out.

FANTASTIC.... My Experience can only be described as, Brilliant....!!!!
All APP's/all programs.... Iphoto/Imovie etc..?? perfect................

Love to know, who else has had a "GOOD"" GREAT" experience..??:apple::apple::apple:

You're probably in the wrong thread for a post topic like yours -- but I'll answer anyway! My MBA will be delivered tomorrow and I plan to be one of the "great" experience people ^_^ like you. Glad to hear everything went smooth for you.

My precious MBA has been sitting in my local FedEx all weekend and I couldn't pick it up, as it was "containerized" (hey, FedEx taught me a new word). My anticipation is revved up for my Monday delivery. Woooo0O0oo!

I really hope we get Mtn Lion. If we do, we'll be the very first ones with ML preinstalled. But I doubt it...

Did you presign for your package?
