Mines been sitting at the local facility since late Friday night.


Not that big a deal if it's got lion on it. Will only take a few minutes to upgrade

Except it won't. It'll take you a few hours. My brother is downloading ML and the download itself is taking 8 hrs. If my Air doesn't come with ML I'm going to the Apple Store. They said it takes them a few minutes.

BTW, the dude at the Apple Store said my (our) laptops will come with ML and that all BTO macs have been coming in with ML for the past 3 days. I'm skeptical based on what I've read here, but we'll see if he's right tomorrow. If he's wrong, again, I'm taking my MBA to the Store and getting it all done there. 8 hr download, hell no....

Yea, I am planning to take mine to the store to upgrade if it isn't pre-loade on mine.

But given mine is only now prepping to ship, it will be hopefully pre-installed!

I've got a relatively quick Internet connect. Took a little under 20 minutes to download for my other machines.

Has now been 8 hours since I noticed the change to preparing to ship... this is taking "forever"* I just want my new MBA!


*Forever being longer than 6 minutes, which is what I consider the reasonable amount of time to wait for a new Mac.**

**I am far more reasonable when it is not something as awesome as a new device, but waiting for a new laptop/iPad/iPhone makes me impatient.

EDIT: Shipped finally!

Nothing on TNT site, but looking forward to spending a few minutes of every couple of hours checking the website.

Here's hoping it ships to me really fast!

Mine is now finally on the way to be been merged with my £70 voucher at a facility in the UK.

Ordered: 29th PM
Preparing to ship: 1st AM
Shipped: 2nd AM
Scheduled on Virgin flight to London: 4th AM (Sat)
Landed UK: 4th PM (Sat)
Cleared Customs: 5th PM (Sun)
Out for delivery: 6th AM
Delivered to Apple: 6th AM

Est. delivery to me 9th but I suspect I'll receive it 8th.

Nearly there :rolleyes:

Just ordered a 11", after thinking about it for a few weeks, with 8gb ram and the 2.0ghz. Happy with the 128 as I have an external GoFlex.

Pretty excited to use it with the TBD while the MBP renders out more heavy tasks.

Also can't wait to use it as my commute / 'day-book'... looking forward to getting a load off on the backpack :D

Apple store said 1 - 3 days shipping. Order confirmation came pretty much instantaneously. It's Monday here in Australia, hopefully see it Friday or before, or Monday next week at the latest.

no 10.8 was pre-installed on it. No redemption codes or downloading from the mac app store.

My 13 arrived in Germany 26 hours ago and not a single update since. :mad:

Apparently the "9th to the 11th" means the 11th and not a second beforehand.

A UPS truck has been circling my street for the past 10 minutes and just delivered something to my neighbor. This is pure torture. FEDEX!!!!!

First time poster and first time MBA owner, well almost.

Ordered the 13" i5 8gb RAM 128 SSD.

Excited doesn't even begin to describe how i feel.:)
