yes you are as i told you before the first night iwas going to post screens and more pics, and you waited a hour to say i need internet glory, haha yea right. i have it prove i dont..

and yes you are a troll.

To be fair, I am getting rather sick of this. You're inviting all the trolling yourself by not giving proof. You can understand why people find it hard to believe. Either show proof, or prepare to be called out continually.

I don't really care if you have 4GB or not, but am getting bored of this cropping up all the time.

Who cares if she's got it or not with the way she's responding.

As for UK deliveries, it would appear that the shipment is just leaving China now.

The passage through Germany has been pre-cleared, but the final export scan in China was just 1 1/2 hours ago.

I tend to agree. While only following this tangentially, it seems to be that if AG COULD put DS in his place because she's legit, she should just do it.

Feed the mob.

There's no way were getting them tomorrow! All my things like iPad/iPhone all make fast progress to the European hub and then slow down until the leave one night and then next morning their out for delivery.

If they do come I'll eat my cat :D

All this talk of eating ***** at this time in the afternoon :D

Most of the tracking info today just means the paperwork and customs has been taken care of, I think Thursday is the most likely.

That's very optimistic... :)
I live in The Netherlands too and have you checked the status? It's on "Exception" again.

As to the conflict here, AppleGoddess can simply provide proof (screenshot, tracking info, etc) or at least circumstantial evidence (pointing to the thread where others with BTO's have received theirs as well) to settle it, otherwise it'll remain settled the other way.

Back to the original purpose of this thread, the one (surprising) fact we do have ample evidence for now is that Fedex China doesn't work on weekends :(. Our Airs missed the Friday night cutoff, then simply sat there for two days, and now are hitting a heavy wave of Monday customs in AK. Surprising that they wouldn't hire a few extra employees to do the job on weekends, given that factories there work 24/7.

The original Apple estimate of Oct 25 delivery was wrong, and the Fedex estimate of Oct 27 is right.

I am an optimist). You know, this "exception" status can also be an exception in a positive way because Apple page still says "delivery on 29 october- 1 november" but we will get our Air's earlier:) As I said, I am an optimist;)

Denis, AG isn't going to post anything other than perhaps "doctored" proof. Only ONE person claimed to have the same TN Apple Gnome -built CTO 4g 11" and he admitted to it a being a prank.

Let's just acknowledge the fantasy and move on....she's the troll.

Agreed. I would have posted a screen shot immediately.

For US customers expecting orders this week, you'll need to be watching Fedex flights leaving Anchorage and bound for either Memphis, Ft. Worth or Newark. All three of these flights leave after 1515p local time today. No other Fedex flights before then.

No direct flights delivering to all those of us living within 2,000 miles of Apple headquarters?

No Prank, a few on this thread received them READ the thread, all came from TENN.

A few = 2 people in total.

First guy admitted it was a prank. He doctored up his "About this Mac" and got caught on it. But he said it was a prank.

The other guy posted his delivery information...won't be getting his CTO 11" until later this week.

That leaves.....you and your claims.

Besides, you yourself said you ordered the "base" model:

I have the iPad as my only Mac it works fine for what I need.
Just ordered the base model 11.6 in air had 777 in gift cards to blow so I was able to get it for 949.00 Ed discount.

Macbook Air base config = $999, with Educators Discount = $949. By your own admission, you own a 2GB model.

I'll give you a pass and assume you just made a mistake in thinking it had 4GB of RAM by confusing it with your hard drive capacity. That happens, right?

Wow, does Apple have some "Slow boat from China" agreement with FedEx for shipping? It just shipped. It's now Midnight in China, and their flights go out at midnight. So it gets on tonight's flight, and it's in the US by Tonight, then should make it through their distribution system by tomorrow night or tuesday night, and be delivered wednesday. When does Fedex say delivery? Thursday.

What the hell, Apple?!?! China to US delivery is only one method and it's 2-days from start to finish. It left China last night, how is it not going to be delivered till thursday? Guess they ship so much they got a special deal. The plane flies slower to save $$ so they get here later and charge less to apple? haha

Unless Steve just launched "Air Apple" I don't think so. :)

The specific flights to monitor:

Fedex 5092 from Anchorage to Ft. Worth
Leaves ANC 10/25/2010 15:45L

Fedex 5048 from Anchorage to Newark
Leaves ANC 10/25/2010 15:50L

Fedex 22 from Anchorage to Memphis
Leaves ANC 10/25/2010 15:00L

Fedex 94 from Anchorage to Memphis
Leaves ANC 10/25/2010 15:50L
(Incidentally, Fedex 94 is the usual aircraft that services ANC to Oakland, but it only flies that route on Saturdays. Otherwise, the flight goes between ANC and Memphis)

Once the time is closer, you can track all of these in FlightAware for real-time status.

I live in Chicago so I know that my shipment will go from Memphis to Indiana tonight/early tomorrow AM, then on to the Fedex distribution hub south of the city late tomorrow. Then onto a truck Wed morning and will be waiting for me at my office downtown then.

Do you think North East MBA's will go Anchorage -> Newark or Anchorage -> Memphis -> Newark? All packages I get from FedEx usually go through Newark.
