Just received a 13 inch Ultimate i7/8gb/512GB model! It's amazing so far and I must say that battery life is just as good as the i5 from my limited experience.

nicely done !The shipping on mine just changed to LONDON, GL GB after being sat at the Shanghai stage for a few days ... hopefully it really is in sunny Blighty.
We in the UK don't seem to get the detailed UPS tracking you guys overseas get (much more fun when you know it's on a plane etc).

I ordered mine after 5pm my local time on Jul 18. It got to Louisville sometime overnight and it'll have to find it's way to Toronto Canada. Coming via UPS.
Came in via FedEx. I ordered on the 19th of July. MBA 11in i5 256gb 8gb ram. Hope your's comes today or tomorrow morning before 10am!

the original ETA was today, now it's not even on there anymore.
there was no adverse weather yesterday, and even if a mechanical breakdown did happen, why would you move the package from Canada (45 mins from it's final delivery address) to the US
a call to UPS just now said that this might not arrive til Monday. I was hoping to play with my new computer this weekend!

Yeah I wouldn't hope for the weekend but I wish. Mine just shipped out from China a few hours ago today, actually.
My i7/13/8/128 arrived today. It took three days to arrive here in the UK, which isn't bad. It was stuck in Castle Donnington for a whole day yesterday.
Obviously, I got it out of the box, despite being at work. There's nothing quite like opening an Apple product.

Yeah I wouldn't hope for the weekend but I wish. Mine just shipped out from China a few hours ago today, actually.
I obviously want it sooner but it turns out I have to be away from home all day on Friday so I'm a little bit philosophical about it.

Just placed an order for a i7/13/8/256, now the painstaking waiting period begins. I thought about the rMBP, however I concluded that the difference between the retina and the MBA display at 13" wouldn't be sufficient to justify either lower performance at a higher price or an October wait, esp. as I'm embarking on the final year of my Master's degree and my '09 MBP screams to be relieved.

Yay! My MacBook Air 13" with 1.7 GHz i7 processor, 8 GB RAM, and 512 GB SSD is on its way from Shanghai, China! Can't get fresher than that. Sweetwater will receive it on Monday morning, and they are sending it to me overnight with an extra power supply and the Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet adapter (for when needed).

Ordered my i5/4GB/256GB 13 inch model a few days ago. It should be here Monday. I'm extremely excited, since my current Macbook Pro is pretty old.

Finally made the move yesterday and bought my first Mac machine since my old Performa model years ago. LOL. With iPads and iPhones in the house and nothing else, it didn't make sense to upgrade with a new PC.
We bought the MBA, 13" with the 256 GB SSD. So far I'm so I'm pressed I can't even believe it took me this long to get one. What a great machine. Battery is great. Looking forward to great collaboration here.

Mine is the LG panel, no idea what SSD but it also has slightly misaligned screen hinges and the creaky casing that a lot of them have.
Don't know if I can face returning it so may well keep it as it is.
Still trying to decide if I prefer the LG to the Samsung display though.

It says it should be shipped in 1-3 business days. Do they work 7 days/ week or only mon-fri? Anyone else who ordered their MBA on a friday and could tell when it was shipped? Cheers!
