Location of MBA forever unknown! ...darn my choosing ship to store

Ordered on 7/10. Shipped on 7/12.
The expected arrival was bumped up a day from next friday 7/19 to next thursday 7/18.

Im hoping for wednesday but i suppose it is a long trip from China to SoCal

Darn this excitement!!!

Well that was quick!! Got the notification this morning that it was ready for pick up and picked it up after the longest work day ever! 4 days early Can't wait to get this bad boy home.

Ordered my i5/8GB/128GB around 1PM on Friday the 12th, and it just now changed to "Preparing for Shipment"... I hope it actually goes out before the end of the day! Says it will deliver June 19-23. I'd be ecstatic if it delivers earlier than that, but I'd really like it on the 19th, before the weekend.

I've been checking the status way too often since I ordered it...

Finally got my Air yesterday, one day earlier than expected! This thing is beautiful and fast! Using my iMac's DVD drive to install some programs was super convenient and simple to do. The Air is an amazing product!

The long running saga continues...dispatched 13th...location changed from Shanghai to London yesterday, changed back to Shanghai this morning and now shows "In Transit to Customer - on schedule" and location London again BUT no tracking details! Delivery estimate is the 22nd though...not sure how it will take so long!

My patience is virtually non existent but it was first ordered on the 1st July so I have an excuse!

Looks like I'm in the same boat as you were in. Mine's been "At local Fedex facility" in Shanghai since yesterday morning. I don't think it can be anything else but waiting to clear customs, which should hopefully happen today but by your screenshot it could take a few days. Must... have... now... !!!

You may want to pre-sign for it so they will just drop it off at your house, if it's a safe area or someone else would be home to take it inside.

I wish...both me and the other half are at work and I've no idea if the neighbours will be in. I don't think there's an option to to pre sign and I'd not want them to leave it anywhere...

I'll just have to cross my fingers and hope...or just be patient!

I received my 13" last week I'm coming from a late 2010 11" so it's a really big improvement!

I'm most surprised with the batterylife. I even let my charger home the last couple of days. I could never do that with my 11" very, very happy with it.

Exciting! Looks like my Air just cleared customs after 3 days in Shanghai. Scheduled to be delivered on Monday! I was hoping it'd make it before the weekend but looks like it won't. Those darn weekends!

My 11" i7/8/512 comes tomorrow! They actually tried to deliver it today, a day earlier than expected, but unfortunately I was being opporated on.

Having the Air tomorrow will lighten up my recovery for sure!

Just got my 13" MBA, i5/8GB/256 SDD. My last laptop was a 2006 white Core2Duo.

So...yeah...this computer is pretty awesome! Had the LG screen, used a ColorSync profile found online, improved the overall display appearance.

Quickly realized that I do NOT like the automatic screen brightness adjustment, turned that off (it was quite noticeably changing screen brightness before my eyes).

Incredible machine. Just WOW.

Ordered today: i7/8/128. This will replace a late-2010 model, which struggles a bit with a resolution of 2560x1600.

ETA for delivery is between the 26th and 30th (of July).

This will be my first non-Core 2 Duo Intel-based Mac (still using a 2006 Mac Pro as a main machine), so I will be interested to see how it performs.

New MBA 11", I love it!

My new MacBook Air arrived this past Monday. I ordered it with 8gigs of memory and an upgraded SSD, 256. It arrived at the Apple Store four days earlier than estimated...nice surprise!

I also ordered a Viper Hardcase which I'm very happy with. I'm still considering buying is a Square Trade warranty (seems a little costly). I've got a Thunderbolt to DVI adapter on order so I can connect to one of the large displays on my desk at work.

I'm very happy with the 11" size, even though most of my friends think it's too small, and most of the reviews as posts seem to focus on the 13" model. I love how nicely it fits into my backpack, and I have some international travel coming so the portability will continue to be the main driver why I bought the smaller size (I think they are sexier too)

I love reading the forum posts, but sometimes I need to take a break as so many people seem to have negative postings. Maybe it's the nature of forums, but I love my new MBA 11"!

Out for delivery... woo-hoo! Knock on wood there'll be no delivery glitches and I'll have my hands on it tonight. Was scheduled for delivery this Monday.
