Thank you! I ask because I'd placed an order earlier this week and it was preparing for shipping. I JUST got the email that it's shipped though! Hope we both get our new MBAs soon and enjoy them!
I just replaced my base model 13" MBP 2020 (Intel) with the base model MBA M1. Got it from Curry's as I get discount on instant gift cards through work, so only cost me around £880. I only bought the Pro last time because it was Apple refurbished for around £900, and felt it was a steal, but wished I had just bought the M1 then.
The M1 MBA blows my 2020 MBP out of the water. Apps launch instantly (except MS Office, but that's no surprise). The fact it doesn't heat up and there is no noise at all is amazing. I reinstalled macOS on MBP before selling it on and it got extremely hot and the fans were on ALL the time. I will not miss those fans and that heat.

Noooooo dammit, I went to order Midnight/24GB/1TB config, the second store was up. Saw "Aug 2-9" delivery (assume due to total BTO), went back to Store, added 16GB variant, saw "July 15", went "Ooo…", then deleted the 16GB model from cart by mistake instead of the 24GB one. T__T By the next few seconds where I re-added to cart, delivery time for both models was Aug 2-9 so ended up with the 24GB one. Anyway. Damn that was faaaaaast
Ordered an M2 MBA Starlight, 10c, 24GB, 1TB ordered with a possible delivery of late July. Better than I thought tbh.

Ordered the bog default Standard M2 MBA in Starlight. Delivery on the 15th. UK.
Ordered two base models with 16GB / 512GB. One in midnight and another silver. Will see which one I prefer once I catch some reviews. Delivery in the first week of August. Hoping I can carry this around instead of my 16" M1 Max MBP.
Ordered a Midnight Blue base model 8/8/8/256 at 5:03am this morning. Says it'll deliver 7/15/22. I was gonna go 16/512 but realized that I am barely using 100GB on my Pro and rarely do more than surf the web, YouTube, write some fiction, and dial into my customer's PC's. None of which uses a lot of RAM. So assuming all works well and there are no glaring "first model" issues, I will sell my Pro and keep the lighter, cheaper Air.

I ordered Space Gray MBA M2 8-core GPU, 16 GB memory and 1 TB SSD storage and should be getting is via standard delivery between 7/20 - 7/22.
Don’t worry, most midnight BTO were 8/2 minimum at 8:01 EST
I ordered a Midnight M2 Air 8/8/8/256 right when the store reopened this morning. Then I changed my mind this afternoon, cancelled that one, and ordered a Midnight M2 Air 8/10/16/512 (ETA 8/1-8). I really did not care for the past Air wedge design. I'm excited for this new design and color. I'm upgrading my personal laptop from a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) to this.
(I posted in the other thread too) midnight 10 core 24 gig 1 tb estimate hasn’t moved since 8:01am. Was first week of aug then, still showing first week of aug now at 8:17pm
(Actually it’s moved up a day. My 8:01 order is 8/2-8/9, now it’s showing 8/1-8/8 on the store app)
Mine was definitely something like 10 days after the same config in the Starlight option.
