Midnight 10/16/512 here, still says Aug 2-9. Hoping that gets revised to something sooner after shipments begin tomorrow seeing how my order was placed 8:03am Eastern and as of a few minutes ago that exact same configuration was showing the same delivery window.
So jealous for those who got a 7/15 delivery date. I ordered at 8am on Friday but my date is 7/22. I am looking forward to reading your future posts on what you think about your machines though.
What configuration did you order? I ordered at 8 am too and got 7/15. I actually checked out at around 8:01-8:02.
I got 10/16/1T with the fast charger, in starlight. I ordered from the education store and they took an extra minute to come back up for orders. I had my configuration saved, but took a minute to double check the details because I was so nervous about getting the order in quickly. And I took an extra minute deciding on ship to home and risk missing the delivery or pick up in store. I went with store pick up. Now I am thinking that may have been a mistake. But I checked out by 8:05.
Same model + config, got my confirmation email at 8:00:51am and still showing delivery Aug 2-9 🙃
If it's any consolation, I don't think your delay in ordering caused you to miss anything. We went with Starlight 8/16/1TB and had our order in by 8:01, and have a 7/20-7-22 delivery window.
I think you are right, because when I looked at the delivery date for 10/16/512 at 8:02, it was already 70 - 24, so I think the BTO options were just not available for 7/15.
Sydney, Australia here, the delivery dates were 18/07 from the very first second of the preorders for the base models. Very weird. I have a 8c/16/512 space grey coming between 21/07 and 26/07
My base midnight is in processing, bet it arrives Friday. Northern NSW.
Has 18/7 delivery.
Why did you order space grey? fingerprints? I had a 14" SG for a week a few weeks ago and it's not good either lol
I also think the base models will arrive on the 15, but it says 18, weird. Mine will take a little longer, it is in processing too, let's see!

I got sick of waiting for the new big iMac and didn't fancy the wait for a mini and a studio display so I ordered a midnight new M2 Air, Apple M2 chip with 8‑core CPU, 10‑core GPU, 16‑core Neural Engine 24GB unified memory 2TB SSD storage. Eta 2nd to 9th August.
Every apple release there's always some who wanna ruin it for others. The norm here for the last few years unfortunately.
Focus on what the memory pressure shows. That is what is important.
Does this help you get it faster? I leave for a quick Toronto trip from Chicago on the 15th, and was thinking holding it at a UPS store might help me be able to nab it before my morning flight.
My UPS guy doesn’t get to my house until between 5 and 7 pm and sometimes bails before he delivers (did that with my iPhone 13 pro). UPS customer center opens at 7:30 am or 8:30 am depending on which one I go to. You have to hold it specifically at a customer center, not a UPS store if you want same day pickup. Hope that helps!
The one here in Chicago opens at 8, I’ll have to see if I feel like waking up early enough to go all the way downtown, and then all the way out to the airport. 🤔 thanks for the pro tip, though!
Mine is BTO (10 core, 16 gigs ram, 1tb drive, midnight, compact charger) and I have a 7/15 delivery date.
Im curious, it seems there are some configs with 16GB/1TB ready for this Friday but everything else involving additional RAM is Early August ...
