Memory isn't lower on the M series. Anyone that says it is magically lower is magically wrong. lol

My status hasn’t updated and probably won’t until the last minute. I don’t usually have a bad ups experience except for the iPhone 13 which just didn’t come on time. Driver had it in his truck but must have ended his shift and took it back. I ended up calling and raising hell so they let me pick it up from the CC on Saturday. I just prefer to go to the CC for launch day products generally.
 
Sadly mine still says processing. But it does show the date is still 7/15 on the Apple Store Page. Ordered the base model midnight. I'm in Glendale AZ USA.

Too late. It was there yesterday. I was checking the site multiple times per day til they discounted the 16” 10/16/16/1TB again, and jumped when they did. I see they have the 16” 10/32/32/1 TB again, but no discount. That was MIA for a good month or so. Just keep trying!

Ordered a Midnight 16GB/1TB config with British keyboard. Wanted to go Starlight, but it was not gold enough for my liking 😄 and I prefer having a unified color between body & keyboard.

Ordered within 2 mins after going live, delivery 2-9 Aug. Which is fine - I won't be in the US until Aug 18th. I'm a patient man.

Hmm Bank blocked my payment due to suspicious activity. Went to try again and I get a hung verification screen on Apples site. Won't get as far as allow this transaction from your bank, which I would open up the app and authorise it. Tried a different card as well. Maybe Prime Day having a field day with verification?
 
Just got the dreaded "Issue with your means of payment"-email.

Quickly resolved with a few support calls - and Apple will even refund me the additional bank fee I incurred to solve the issue.

Phew - dodged one 🤪

My 24GB, 2TB midnight is scheduled for 26 Jul - 02 Aug. Hardly the end of summer. It's just two weeks later than the initial shipments.

Mine is scheduled for those dates as well. I count July as the only true summer month and August as “late summer but jikes the evenings are getting kinda chilly” but that’s because I live in Sweden, I guess. :)

Edit: my card just got charged. Yay! Apple has my money! Err.. 😅

Ordered MBA M2 in Midnight with 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM. Order confirmed at 08h06 CDT (Chicago) on Friday, July 8 (1 hour after orders opened). Estimated Delivery is August 2-9.

Ordered from Education page.

Order placed via education site at 7:02am CDT, Starlight 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM with the 35w charger. Initial confirmation email said arriving between 7/20-7/22. Order just went from processing to preparing to ship and now the dates are 7/22-7/26. Can't find it on UPS app or MyChoice yet.

I ordered through the non-education site, but everything else has mapped with your experience on the dates. I have had several Apple products over the years that tracking history lags until just immediately prior to delivery but none has been for an earlier than promised delivery.

I have similar experience, though almost all are delivered at the early end of the timeframe given.

Ordered 8:01a ET July 8th via Apple Store app. Starlight, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, 67W Power Adapter. Originally quoted July 20-22.

Updated at some point today, Preparing to Ship, now quoted July 22-26.
