Ordered 8:01a ET July 8th via Apple Store app. Starlight, 512GB SSD, 16GB RAM, 67W Power Adapter. Originally quoted July 20-22.

Updated at some point today, Preparing to Ship, now quoted July 22-26.
Same here. Space Gray, 16GB RAM, 1TB, 67W. Quoted 20-22, moved to preparing to ship but delivery moved out? Strange to see that happen. I'd have expected an earlier delivery considering the status. We'll see.

My gut says it either arrives in the originally quoted window or the very early portion of this new one. Supply chain issues haven't gone away - and Apple doesn't have control over how quickly its shippers move things.

When I ordered my MBP, it sat in Preparing to Ship for 5 days I think? Its all a process. My gut says PTS status means, it's left the production line, and is sitting on a pallet or in a shipping container awaiting pickup by the shipper - which is likely UPS. (This MBA is for my wife).

Hmm Bank blocked my payment due to suspicious activity. Went to try again and I get a hung verification screen on Apples site. Won't get as far as allow this transaction from your bank, which I would open up the app and authorise it. Tried a different card as well. Maybe Prime Day having a field day with verification?
Ended up phoning Apple. The chap said it was a known issue and reissued the authorisation. All gone through and still on track for the 15th.

I see a lot of people citing the times they put their orders in (5:01/8:01am), seemingly unaware that probably a few hundred thousand others all did the same thing. These later delivery dates shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

I am another BTO with a pick up date of 7/22, that has recently changed to 7/22-7/26 when the status changed to preparing to ship.

Not sure about anyone else, but I always mention it as just another data point...the same as mentioning what configuration I ordered. Pretty much the only time I'm active on these boards is when I've preordered something. I enjoy the sort of inclusive feeling that comes from waiting with a group of a people rather than alone. Kinda like listening to music at a concert or seeing a movie in a theater as opposed to alone in my home. What time I ordered is just a sort of connection between me and other people who ordered around the same time. It obviously doesn't tell me anything conclusive about when I might expect my device to arrive, but it's fun! :)

It's certainly not intended to be taken as a "I was first in line, therefore I should receive my device first!" statement.

So still at preparing to ship, still giving Friday as delivery date. Beginning to wonder if some stock is being held in country (UK). Ordered first 5 minutes, 10/16/1T starlight.

Same here. Ordered base model, confirmation within a minute of launch. On the Apple store app it still appears Preparing to Ship, but on UPS My Choice says it’s already in the US. Delivery for July 15.

Mine is in Kentucky per the UPS tracking. I’m guessing if a signature was required it would show that request in the details?

Midnight 16/512. Card charged this morning but still showing processing. Aug 1-8 delivery. Hoping it comes sooner! USA here.
Ordered the same configuration, have the same delivery dates but no card charge though. Amsterdam here. Really hoping it means they’re shipping much faster then first week of August. Keep us posted!

Monday my status changed to preparing to ship. Pick up date was 7/20-7/22 but changed to 7/22-7/26 at that time. Last night status changed to shipped and pick up date was changed to “4-6 business days”. Hoping that’s true. It means I should be able to pick up earlier than 7/22.
