Eh?
I ordered 11"/1.6/4/128 on the 23rd. Not Yet Shipped. I also ordered iLife11 for the rest of my Macs and that shipped on the 24th. The delivery date is Oct 28 - Nov 4.

I'm guessing I might get it next week and not this Friday. :(

Wow. Mine made it from Alaska to Houston over night. It is currently on the FedEx vehicle for delivery! Looks like I will have a nice little (pun intended) treat when I get home from work! Now, just find a way to make it through the work day without, ahem, getting sick. ;)

He had to go clean up from his excitement :D

Pretty much lol! Here is pics:

Also this thing is FAST! 2.13 ghz, 4 gigs of ram, everything is super snappy. And yes, Safari IS snappier!

Too bad its pretty much useless for me until I download XCode : / That'll be three hours :(

Oh well in the mean time I can put ZBrush, Photoshop and Corel painter on here and start pushing this little beast and seeing how far it can go!

Amazing stuff!!
Any chance you can run a Geekbench at 64bit.
As a bench-mark, I tested a MacBook Pro 2.8 Ghz Core 2 Duo, 4GB earlier, 256GB NVIDIA GeForce 9400M and it scored 4281

This is the machine I'd like to replace with the MBA 2.13GHz 4GB.

So would love to know. :D

I don't have the paid version for the 64bit :( If anyone reading this does and wants me to try with their geekbench login PM me with it.
EDIT: Oops, guess there is no login.

Good call! I'm going to check and see if its the most updated version.

Received confirmation that my new baby has just been delivered! Literally missed it by about an hour going into work today. I think I feel a debilitating "cold" coming on. ;)

Oh actually, there is no XCode install. iLife is on here, but no XCode : / Makes sense though since the file is a whopping 3 gigs! I wonder if there is a way to back up the USB drive in the event the drive gets lost or corrupt...

I just ordered new 13.3" MBA. 256 GB, 2.13 Core2Duo, 4GB RAM. I cannot wait to get it, though it will probably be early November.

Quick question on the iLife install. Is it only usable on the MBA or could you use the drive on another computer (i.e. your MBP)? I know that the DVD-install discs for previous iLife / iWork discs could be used across multiple machines, just wondering if they've limited the USB drive to the MBA.

Thanks!

Wooo!

"Shipped on: Oct 26, 2010"

:D

EDIT: Apparently the carrier is UPS Ireland - I guess orders to the UK (Scotland at least) must be going via Ireland?

On the ups GB site enter your apple shipping reference number into the section where it says "no shipping number no problem" I think you'll find your airs in Shanghai mate!

I just tried it. It won't work (at least not on my mac pro). I get "iLife is not compatible with this computer"
