Dont worry too much it will change when its on its way! Mine said 16th 17th Nov when I ordered on 1st Nov but then today it changed to the 8th.

Yes, and thank you! It sat in Anchorage for about 24 hours, but once it departed, the online updates came in reliably. I called Fedex, and the rep said that it was going to Memphis before it came to me in Fort Worth, but she was wrong: it came straight to Fort Worth.

Something punched a hole in the cardboard shipping box and made a slight indention in the back of the MBA box, so I hope that the impact wasn't enough to cause any damage. Anyway, I'm glad that I got it today instead of next Tuesday: I've got the weekend to play with it.

Wife just got her 11.6", 3 days earlier than expected. This thing is stunning and blazing fast. It's a 4GB/128GB. Brilliant work Apple!!

To all MBA users:
One piece of advice! Get a html5 extension for Safari so you can play youtube videos via HTML5 not FLASH.

This allowed seamless experience with youtube with MUCH more tolerable noise level. Playing 720p without a single hiccup and keeps the machine MUCH cooler.

As a previous owner of Rev A Air years ago....THIS TIME, Apple finally got it right.

Ordered my MBA 11.6 maxed out on Wednesday (New Zealand time) and ju st today got the prepared for shipment notification. I'm very excited. Supposed to ship on 10-12

Any thoughts on how long it will take?
Also, anyone here please tell me if having a few tabs open in safari makes it ru n slower.

I ordered by Ultimate 13" MBA on October 31st to go to a Sutton Bonington in UK

And when it was dispatched for shipping on November 2nd, Apple said estimated delivery date is November 5th.

But on the actual UPS site it was saying November 8th and it was in Germany and when it departed in Germany just now, it changed to November 9th?! Surely should stay the same if it departed Germany as it is only 2 hours away from where I live.

I have never used UPS but I think their delivery route is ridiculous, you are not breaking any world records from taking my MBA to as many different random locations as possible. Thus, they suck.

Anyone ordered on October 31st to UK and still haven't have their MBA yet?

Or am I just being ridiculous and it takes more than a week to send an MBA? or am I waiting too long?

Yay!! Just got the email that said my air shipped. It's currently in Shanghai. Does anyone happen to know how ling it takes ti get from there to Philadelphia. I have the listed delivery date as 11/11, but I'm hoping sooner. Can you blame me?? Lol.

I ordered online 31/10 around 1pm. !3"/256/4Gb, to London.

Probably taking longer because I also ordered Office 2011, (it was cheaper than in the Apple store),and they have to merge order.

Currently showing "Shipped to London 3rd Nov." and "Shipment dispatched 6th Nov."

I'm hoping to get it before next weekend.

out of stock at quite a few places so decided to order it online as it was stating 1-3 business days to ship. I did not expect it to take more days for shipping as i didn't customise it.

Ordered same day with same spec and same estimated delivery date. Going to Warrington, UK. The shipment got stuck in Korea for 12 hours due to a mechanical fault (!) but is now in Kazakhstan.
